Mimeograph Monday – A Flower for All Seasons

This 'n' That

4 Apr

005 copy

Today I had my first Cake Candle class and it was fun seeing everyone.  Then tonight is the Chopped – All Stars Final so I am happy to do the catalog copied card (it makes it easier), and this week I picked a card on page 107 of the catalog and it is A Flower for all Seasons, I have not used this set in a while, and I love to sit and color so it was a fun card to do.  I did change a few of the colors from the catalog, and mine is a little more detailed in color, or maybe it looks that way cause it is darker, but I think it's a cute card.

I stamped on watercolor paper which was also different then the original card and it allows you to blend and shade your colors better when you color.  Don't forget you can learn to color with ink refills too and I have a PDF to teach you.  If you go to my blog and on the right hand side there you will find the PDF buy now button, or go to this link and you can find it too.

Stamp Set: A Flower for All Seasons, Teeny TIny Wishes

Paper: Daffodil Delight, Crumb Cake, Watercolor Paper

Ink: Jetblack Stazon, Chocolate Chip, Crumb Cake, Daffodil Delight, Peach Parfait, Pear Pizzazz, Poppy Parade, More Mustard, Sahara Sand, Cajun Craze, Marina Mist

Misc: 1 1/4" Daffodil Delight striped grosgrain ribbon, linen thread, jewelry tag

A few of you have emailed to say yes I should sell my cards on my blog. But do you want me to put a variety of like 4 or 5 together for a price, or sell them individually for a price?

Well I gotta get off here, I have class in the morning, so I need to tidy up from class today, and I have my swap to do for my upline and sweet girlfriend Rhonda's meeting tomorrow.

Have an awesome Monday and thanks for stopping in.

This is a cute one. I am gonna make some cards using the sunflower flower from this set. I need to make some cards for the run for ovarian cancer and the sunflower is the logo for that. I also got some Flower soft – hopefully I can make it look cool!

    Hi Di

I would probably buy your cards by the eaches. What I have found in bundles, is one card I couldn't use. Or, maybe if you purchased in quantity you could get a small discount . But I would still rather choose the bundle , so I'd get the cards I need 😉 Thanks for putting out great work and sharing it with us.

I love this feature. It inspires me to open up the catty and do some of their great work. I definitely love your coloring more than the one in the catty. TFS with us.

I think you should offer both. Some people like a variety to give as gifts. Maybe they do not have time to make their own and this makes a wonderful gift. Then there are your special cards. Maybe someone could use just one for someone special. Just my thoughts.

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
