Happy Birthday Granny

Tutorials/Tips

12 Apr

Diana and Granny copy

Today is my Granny's birthday, she is 92 years young! I talked to her today for a little bit, she lives in the home and the girls have to take her the phone. She sounded awesome and I can hardly wait to see her in September when my little sister Courtney gets married.  I love you and miss you Granny!

Do you watch the TV show Challenge, Last Cake Standing?  They say we will say the most horriblest things to the person we love most in the world, things we won't even say to a stranger, so that Nikki girl must really love her hubby cause she chewed his butt off on the show and he was giving it right back.  Then they kissed and made up after she walked off stage for one of her "breaks" she took "breaks" during the first show of the season and her team mates were like what the heck?   I wonder what the car ride home was like?

Richard I don't like cause of last week, at least he did not scream at his helper as they dropped their cake on the floor. I thought he would go home but after Nikki's poor sportsmanship and attitude I am glad they choose her.

Jorg, hey man when did this show become Wood Shop? He had as much wood as cake, I think he is lucky he had immunity, but loved that the judges told him how disappointed they were.

Loved the interaction between Jason and Joshua, they are on opposite teams, but are best friends and I think current or past roomates.  When Jason was sick and stuff, Joshua was making sure he was ok, leaving his cake to go check on his friend, I thought it was sweet.

I really like Orlando and Marina and hope they go far.

I don't like Kerry the judge, she has a sour puss face half the time, it makes you think she is bored or does not like her job.

The show is fun to watch, and I wonder if any piece of any of these cakes ever get eaten?

I wanted to whip up a card tonight, I have been cutting cardstock…did I mention I am cutting 500 cards for class this weekend? Yep…5.0.0.  So today I used the other stamp from the new set available May 1 called "On the Grow".  I showed this card…

I love the cards. You did a great job as usual. Happy BD to granny. My grandma lived by herself in her own home till she was 95. She was pretty amazing. 500! You are a wild woman. Have a great Tuesday. Personally I am going to the dentist for a root canal and I just can't wait (yea right).

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
