Being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator

…me?

Well if you want to find me you have to remember to put stampingwithdi.com  that has a "g" at the end of stamping. When I originally started my blog I didn't have the "g" cause my Splitcoast name was StampinDi, I had an old email address that was StampinDi too, but then after a while with my blog I wanted to like buy the domain name and it was gone, there was already a Stampin out there, so I thought well I will correct the spelling and go with Stamping with Di…but I had already named the typepad blog dealiebob without the g and if I were to change it I think it would mess it up, so I just changed the blog header, so there has only been a few times that someone will say "hey I would like to sign up for class and can't see where to do it" or "why haven't you updated your blog" and I come to realize, they were at the wrong blog.  So please make sure you see my old face on the top left and you will know you are at the right place.

Tomorrow is my downline shoebox and pizza party, we do these a few times a year.  Our swap tomorrow is Feminine and when I was checking out the uber talented Carrie Gaskin's blog I came upon this cute card and I thought hey I am doing that one.  Hers is cuter and with a few more steps, but as it is this will take long enough.  I already embossed it, made their teabags, punched their jewelry tags, and they will have to do the rest.  I hope they like it, I love it.  Thanks Carrie!!

Stamp Set: Morning Cup

Paper: Old Olive, Very Vanilla, Baja Breeze, Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive DSP, Watercolor paper, cardstock vellum

Ink: Jetblack Stazon, Sahara Sand, Baja Breeze, Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive

Misc: Crochet trim, jewelry tag punch, linen thread, 1" circle punch, scallop trim border punch, finial press embossing folder

I might have to make one of these for my girlfriend Sharon, she is a tea girl.

OK, so I am going to call it a night, gotta set my room up in the am.  I have a workshop on Sunday so need to get that all finished up too tomorrow.

I was a bad girl, thanks to Melissa (she's an enabler – still debating on the Twilight PJ's – ha!!), she told me about the new Black Dagger book and now that I have the Nook app, I immediately got it and have been reading it.  I mean I was reading another book, a real live book and have stopped reading it to read the Black Dagger one, I mean this Nook thing could be addicting. I may even have been in my pajamas when I bought the Nook book.  Thanks Mel, and I mean it, the book is soooo goood!!

Have an awesome Saturday, it is supposed to rain pretty much all day tomorrow, and then the whole government shut down thing, geesh what is this world coming to anyway?

Thanks for stopping in!

FAB Di, I LOVE all your layers. You asked about my sewing in a circle, I just sewing slow and steady, and every once in awhile I pivot.

Your teabag card is very nice – I like
the colouring you used. Your video on
PCP is very good and easy to follow.
    Thanks for sharing.

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
