Vintage

This 'n' That

20 Mar

003 copy

Our friends at Wikipedia say that vintage is:

Vintage is a process in wine-making.

Vintage is also a term used to describe something as old or antique.

I mean there was more talking about wine and stuff but this is the short version.  Ellie sent me the cutest card today when she sent her class fee, and she called it "vintage" cause it is an old retired Stampin' Up! stamp set, and I'll be darned if I didn't own it at one time. Don't you just love this card? Oh wait I've only shown you a snippet…here ya go…as Paul Harvey would say "the rest of the story"

I am not sure where the greeting came from, but you gotta love the play on words, it would be easy enough to make with Stampin' Up!'s personalized stamps.  The eggs, that I love, are actually from the current stamp set Nature Walk from the mini catalog. Thanks Ellie for the card, I love it…into my glass cabinet it goes!!

Today I had my first ever My Digital Studio class, and the rest is tomorrow, it went not too bad, it was a beginners class, and I set the room up like a classroom and then I used my 24" monitor hooked to my laptop so the girls could see what I was doing and they could follow along with their laptops.

Then we headed to the movies to see "Rango" and it was very cute. Jeff had to pee so bad after the movie was over but I made him wait till I saw Alex's name and then we left. He has the bladder of a gecko…Jeff, not Alex…ha!

So this post will be short and sweet, have a blessed Sunday and thanks so much for stopping in to see me each day!

I love it. What do you teach when you do the beginner's workshop? I have a couple of customers that bought MDS when it was on sale for 1/2 price. They want me to teach them a few things but I don't want to overwhelm them. Poor Jeff. Have a great Sunday. It is just gojus here. My tulipb tree is starting to bloom and Roscoe is loving it.

It's a gorgeous card. I have 2 SU rooster, but no chicken wire. Many foods we eat and drink make crystals in pee (like many little needles-they stick into the pee tube when you go, which causes a feeling of urgency to go even if you went 5 min. ago. For adults, 1000 mg of Vit. C in the am and before bed, will turn the crystals back into liquid. For kindergarten age children 500 mg of C,am and pm, will do the same. These recommendations came from a pediatrician many years ago,but they still work well for my family today. ;)))

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
