Rango

This 'n' That

9 Mar

I wanna see this movie so bad and here is one of the reasons.

My sweet friend Barbara Lash (shown above with MAMMa) her son in law Alex Manugian is the voice of Spoons, he is shown here with Rango in this AP picture.

How cool is that? Here they are in the flesh.

See how they are dressed up, look how fun it was to film this movie. They like acted it out in character, I hope they add this to the DVD, wouldn't that be neat to see them acting out more then what they show on the YouTube?

I love the end where Johnny Depp laughs, what a cutie.

So it's kinda like I am Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon Johnny Depp. Ha!

So how lucky am I? My BFF Tracy sent me some cards with my box of old milk bottles and stuff and so while I get our taxes done…ugh, every year I tell myself I am not waiting till tax time to get it ready, and yep again this year, doing it all now…blech! I will have these lovelies to share with you each day since I have no time to stamp.

Here's a closer shot of it. Nice eh? Thanks Tracy, love you and miss you!

Well I am gonna sign off and get back to my papers.

Have an awesome Wednesday and thanks so much for stopping in!

Love the card! How do you think the blue/green is done? Swiping a stampin spot across the paper? It doesn't seem like it's with a brayer……I'd love to try this out.

Blech is right about taxes. DH just got ours together yesterday and is going to take it to th eperson that does our taxes sometime this week. You know we got extra time this year since April 15 falls on Friday? We get to the following Monday (April 18). That is great but I bet there will still be a bunch of people that file late. Love the card Tracy.

I really like Johnny Depp…but he's a bit "off" if ya know what I mean. lol

My six degrees of Johnny Depp is that my mom's best friend's son in law is Johnny's personal assistant. AND they live in Ahwatukee.

Always so much fun going on at your blog Di. I love your commentary on everything. I'm not a JD die hard, but I love him, he can play any part. I think being a bit off, is what makes him so interesting and versatile and how he can show all ranges of expression in front of other people. ;)) So cool that you know the mom of one of the actors. Tracy's card is so pretty. I'm going to try it.

Kathy I masked off the center and sponged blue and green then stamped the trees in blue and green , With mask still in place. (as you don't get the full tree) then remove the mask and stamp the trees in black. So you'll want to make your masking smaller than the height of the trees, so the black stamped image is above and below the masking area.
Go make one very easy and we all have "Lovely as a Tree" set!!!!!!!!!!! Classic Set!!

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
