Prince of Persia

Sale-A-Bration

8 Mar

002 copy

While I was working on my Thank You cards for online orders placed with me in March I had on the movie the Prince of Persia, I missed some of it and hope to catch it again, I was so excited to see one of my favorite actors on there, Richard Coyle who played Jeff on the BBC series Coupling, and if you want to watch some rip roaring fun you should check out some of those, the first three seasons were the best. So it was nice seeing him on the movie and I could see his Jeff character in him in a few of his scenes. I guess Jake Gyllenhaal didn't look too bad either…ha!

This card I just combined the two cards from my Open House into one card.  I used the card from the one and the set from the other…ha!

Stamp Set: So Happy For You, Aviary

Paper: Subtles DSP pack, Whisper White, Wild Wasabi, Marina Mist

Ink: Jetblack Stazon, Sahara Sand, Wild Wasabi, Marina Mist

Misc: Eyelet border punch

To get the look of the shadow-y words, I just used my stamp-a-ma-jig.  First I stamped the greeting with Basic Black, then using my jig I off set the greeting again and stamped it this time with Sahara Sand. Cool eh? Gotta love the jig.

So here's a variety of the Thank you cards I did today.  Want one?  Just place an on-line order at my store from March 1 – March 31 and you will get one in the mail. Don't forget Sale-a-Bration is winding down.  You only have until March 31 to get a free Sale-a-Bration item with each $50.00 (before tax & shipping) order you place.

Well I am gonna hit the hay, I got a lot more done today then I did on my lazy day yesterday, so I need to get some shut eye.  Plus I got to start getting my taxes together tomorrow..blech!

Have an awesome Tuesday and thanks for stopping in! I really appreciate you coming to see me every day!

Signature white 5

I love them both. Did you stamp the birds first or the cages? Would you believe I just bought that set a little bit ago and I haven't taken it out yet? Sad. I love the way you got the shadow on the words. I thought you had stamped them on acetate and the blur was a shadow from them. You are one smart cookie, or is that cupcake?

oooo Prince of Persia was a great movie. And Jake looked great! I love that little grin he has. Kinda cool the movie was good since I'm pretty sure it was based on a video game.

    Luv ya

Oh, my! At first I wondered if I needed my eyes adjusted because of the double-stamped sentiment. One of my favorite color combos is Wild Wasabi and Marina Mist. Love the card!

Oh, my. You do like to do things the hard way! Shadow-y words using a thinga majig and two different inks! Just pick an ink, stamp the sentiment once, pick up the stamp and move it one tiny bit and stamp again. Ta daaaa! Shadow-y words. Stamping off is all it is. Silly Di. Pretty thank you cards. Will CASE. TYFS

Diana, they are both so pretty. Spring is in the air. I have the aviary set and it makes such cute cards, love that little owl! I raise exotic birds, so I love the cages too…(lightbulb moment)…I should make some cards for my breeder friends. They both have summer birthdays. ;)))

Thnak you for the thank you card 🙂 I really like how the digital front turned out. I also LOVE the offsetting of the words on the card above. I am going to try that right away! I looks 3-D. Thx for the tip.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
