I think I like this idea, copying a card out of the catalog, it sure makes my lazy Sunday end on an easy note. The hardest part is just trying to figure out the sizes of the paper, and which card to do since there are so many beautiful choices, I swear the samples in the catalog get better and better every year. Tonight I actually dusted off the sewing machine and used it. I was not going to and I was going to give you some excuse, and I was like "no dangit, you got a place for your sewing machine so you could sew more, sew do it" so I did it, and it has been a while since I did and I forgot about holding the paper and not allowing it to move so my first stitching was pretty close together. I also realized I really want to get a different chair to sit on when I sew.
Today was lazy, Jeff and I watched a lot of TV, a few movies and then Chopped -All Stars. Have you seen the movie "Grown Ups"? It has some funny parts on it, and we laughed quite a bit. Our favorite scene I was trying to find on Youtube and I can't find it at all. When I put in search words to help find it bad stuff comes up. So take my word for it, it is funny, it is a hugging scene at the funeral and I think the word finger is used.
Did you watch Chopped – All Stars? If you haven't watched it yet, don't read this. I teared up at the part where Geoffrey handed Aaron the sifter with the icing sugar in it, I thought what classy cooks.
So the first time I saw this card in the catalog I loved it, so I was glad I finally did it.
Paper: Naturals Ivory, Not Quite Navy, So Saffron, Newsprint DSP, Neutrals Patterns DSP
Ink: Basic Black, Sahara Sand
Misc: Chantilly Crochet Trim, Antique Brads, Boho Blossoms punch, Modern Label punch, Scallop edge punch, Top Note Die, Perfect Details Texture Plates, Sewing machine
So I challenge you to open up the catalog and to copy a card and post it on your blog, and let me know so I can go check it out.
Well I am gonna clean up and get ready to watch the beginning of Grown Ups, we missed the first 15-20 minutes of it I think. Plus I wanna see the finger scene again…ha! I know, sick humor.
Don't forget you only have a few more days to take advantage of Sale-a-Bration. To place an order, my online store is open 24/7. Thanks so much for the orders, I really appreciate it.
Have an awesome Monday and thanks for stopping in.
Grown ups was a funny movie. I'm not sure I remember the finger scene though. I'll have to watch it again.
Luv ya
Jax
I haven't seen that movie. In fact we don't watch a lot of movies, we are too busy watching other things. The card is great. What an idea to copy something out of the catty. There are some gorgeous things in there.
