…I mean Green.
So this morning I met Maureen over at our local Park & Swap, I have not been there in quite some time. When we were at the Deli the other day we saw a girl with the cutest purse, so Maureen asked where she got it and she said Park & Swap, so then we set our plan in motion. We walked and walked and almost gave up, and wouldn't you know it, the last danged aisle is the aisle we found the purses we wanted. Then we just had to decide. I found a pinkish and black and thought hmmmm….then I found this one and knew this was the one that was me.
What do you think?
Isn't it cute? It looks even cuter in person. Maureen got the same one but hers was teal. Such a fun time…thanks Maureen, and Alan for putting up with a couple women shoppers.
When I had my Open House, Ellie noticed my framed poem, and it is funny it has been hanging in here for years, but now it is more noticeable. A few of you have emailed me asking what it was in the frame, so here is the poem, I can't remember where I got it years ago. What I did with it was printed it on DSP (this is old stuff since I did it probably 5 or more years ago) and then I framed it.
Just copy and paste it into your word program and do what you want with it.
This Craft of Mine
All I need to pass the time
and lose my thoughts of
reason and rhyme
are brushes and ink and
blocks of wood
to color and press onto
paper so good.
Each cut true, my work of art
I place and glue and
savor each part.
This gift of mine is
more than a craft
it’s a memory, a moment,
a time that we laugh.
Now I share what I have made
at a time I was quiet
a time that I played.
May a smile cross your face
when this card you first see
it is sent with the hope
we are all we can be.

Well guess who has a head ache again, it seems like I don't get one for a while and then I get them days or nights in a row, so I will sign off for tonight.
Have an awesome Monday and thanks for stopping in.
What a great day you must of had! Friends, Shopping and a New Purse Yikes!
Feel better soon my friend!
Wow, nice score on the purse! That is really cute. Love that poem too!
Thanks for sharing the poem, I have saved it & will put it into a frame one day soon.
Thanks for sharing the poem. Will save it to frame some day.
Diana, could your headache be from hayfever/sinuses/allergies? There's alot of trees, etc, blooming right now and many of my friends are have the same trouble as you. Get some sudafed or something similar and see if it helps…..thanks for giving us the words to that very cool poem; it describes our craft to a 't'
I love the purse! It looks trendy and western at the same time. I have one too but mine is alittle bigger and is brown ! Sounds like you ladies had an awesome day!
How fun (the shopping, not the headache). Drugs!! Do you need to go to the doc and get some? I love the poem. (Hi Patrice, I didn't know you read this blog).
Hugs Carey and Roscoe
I do hope your headache doesn't hang on any longer. Thanks for your posts! I love your thoughts and ideas.
I have to tell you that though we have never met and could not be more unlike sisters ( our looks) we could not be more similar, I love that you love your chickens and call them your girls ( we just got ourselves some laying chickens ordered and my father and I keep calling them the girls) , your taste in cards ( I am ALWAYS inspired by you) and I have this purse….I got mine in red and black and is missing the cross on the front but everything else is the same and I saw this purse at the same place as I got mine ( RCC cowboy store in Georgia) I even saw matching wallets ( Yes in the colours matching your purse as well).
Just thought I would let you know and please do not be scared I will not stalk you down, although if I do run into you at conventiopn this year either I will scream or clamp right up in shock….smile
