Again?

This 'n' That

27 Mar

004 copy

How many times am I going to do this card, but change it up a bit? Well hmmm…I don't know.  I did it here, and I think this is the third time I have done it and just mixed it up a bit, I showed Jeff the original one and then this one and he was like, "wow that looks nothing like the other one, how did you do that?" and I was like "well I'm a pro" – ha!! I kill me!

I just didn't use the polka dotted DSP and instead I used Riding Hood Red cardstock and ran it through my favorite embossing folder Framed Tulips.  I also added the key trinket cause it went perfectly with the saying.  Oh how I love the You're a Gem set. Such cute sayings. I also turned it on it's side. It does give it a different look eh?

001 copy
Stamp Set: Easter Blossoms, You're a Gem

Paper: Riding Hood Red, Very Vanilla, Basic Black, Love Letters DSP

Ink: Jetblack Stazon, Sahara Sand, Riding Hood Red

Misc: Vintage trinkets, Trinkets Key, Striped Basic Black Ribbon, Framed Tulips embossing folder

So Jeff had his horseshoe tournament today and I'll be darned if he and his partner (they never know who they will be matched up with) won.  So he now has two of the trophies that he has made.  Too funny!

I was bad and stayed in stamping and I did take a break and watched Megamind, that was cute.  I had a bit of a headache later, and took some excedrin, I think it is an allergy thing cause I was out with the girls earlier, and things are blossoming, you should smell Jeff's roses. Holy Moly.

Well Jeff got in a bit ago with his trophy and the left over chips and buns from the day, so I am gonna clean up and turn off the lights and head in for the night. I'm deaf but I can hear him snoring on his chair in the house and I am in my studio…and one wonders why I wear ear plugs to bed?

Have a blessed Sunday and thanks so much for stopping in!

I agree with Jeff. Except for the template, the cards are nothing alike. Love this card. And I appreciate seeing variations on templates. TFS!
BTW, your new profile picture is adorable. You look so happy with your new studio. I shared the pics of your studio with my upline's Yahoo group. Of course, all were envious. Enjoy!

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
