A Little Bit of Cajun

Tutorials/Tips

30 Mar

007 copy

Today I worked on my 10/10/20 Birthday card class, and this is one of the cards they are going to do.  I also watched "A River Runs Through It", I had never seen it before, and I guess I was hoping for it to be better. It was good, but I am glad I didn't run out and buy it to watch it.

I did the Bisque Pottery Technique on the background, this time using Sahara Sand.  If you missed how to do that, here is the tutorial.  Added, sorry the link didn't work, we had a bit of family excitement going on last night, so I was rushing to get my post done.  I fixed it now.

OK, well this is a quick post, as I got to get back to work. I am loving the cards for class.

Have an awesome Wednesday, I am excited for American Idol after last week's craziness.  I wonder what they will sing?

Thanks for stopping in.

Pretty card! I love it! Cajun was one of those colors I didn't think I would use but end up using it a lot lately! I can't wait for Idol. Do you watch DancingWTS too? I was surprised Wendy didn't go first. Someone must like her I guess….

Oops! Link to bisque pottery tute doesn't go anywhere but back to home page. Love this card and the one you posted yesterday. Personally, I would rather CASE your cards than buy them. Just IMHO. LOL

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
