Boy today was a cold one and tonight is going to be the coldest in like 70 years they said. I know that everyone on the east coast or my fellow Canadians are rolling their eyes about when I say cold. But this is really cold for us.
Today the guys came over and did some finishing touches on my cutting wall side of the room and also added the 12×12 cardstock shelves, so they had the outside door open while they were working cause they had saws and stuff outside so I did not even stay in my studio, I went into the warm house, with a blanket, a book and Toby. It did feel good to just take a break ya know, I even managed to catch a few winks. Fingers crossed most of the other cabinets should go in this weekend.
Tomorrow is going to be fun, my friend (and Becky Robert's BFF) Kim Sinclair is coming over with her hubby. They have been visiting in and around Tucson for a few days with family and are going to come hang out with us before they have to go to the airport. How fun is that? It is also cool cause she is super sweet, and I can't wait till Jeff and her meet, at convention Stampin' Up! pulled 10 names to win the Alaska cruise incentive trip and Kim was one of them, so it will be nice for our hubby's to get to know each other a little better before the cruise. They are Country & Western fans, so I think that alone is gonna be a good start.
I'll take pics and share them with you tomorrow, it'll give you a peek break…ha!
Well since I was not in my studio much today, I just have the little sneak to share with you. I am gonna head to bed (I did tidy up the studio as best I could) so it is not too much craziness for Kim.
Have a super duper Thursday and thanks for stopping in.
Feeling pretty smug that Florida is not getting any of the nasty weather, ice, snow and cold that most everyone else is getting. Saw that Arizona was gonna get cold and thought of you. Ice storms coming to LA and MS, but will miss Florida. Was almost 80 yesterday! Can't wait to see the rest of your spring fling stuff. These peeks are tantalizing. Glitter on ribbon?
I, for one, am not sick of your sneak peeks and this one looks super cool! I love anything with flowers that we make ourselves! I can't wait to see the entire project.
Oh you poor thing- did it get down to 30 or 40 (this said with tongue in cheek). OK- it feels awful if you are used to be it being quite a bit warmer. I remember that from CA. When people that it was freezing (50's in winter) I wasn't even wearing a coat. Today it is 9 degrees and if the wind blows it feels MUCH colder. Roscoe only goes out for about 15 minutes to lay in the snow and then runs back in to warm up for a few minutes. Toby wouldn't even go outside to go potty I bet. I can't wait to see what your studio looks like. I remember when they pulled the names I had my fingers crossed so hard- congrats to Kim. Have a good time with her.
