Too Funny

This 'n' That

13 Feb

I found this on the Life is Good blog, I can't remember how I came across her, but she is funny!

Photobucket

So this is how I feel sometimes, so that is why I had to put it on here. It makes me smile.

My cabinet guy Mark brought my base cabinets and counter for the last wall today (no drawers or doors) but it looks nice, now he has got the crud that his helper had last week. So not sure when he will bring the rest, as he needs to take a couple days off to get well. It'll happen, I am just so excited for it to be done, so I can show you, fingers crossed he gets better quickly as I have a class here next weekend.

What I can show you is a couple things the girls are going to be making tomorrow at Spring Fling.

Let's see what do I wanna show you first? I'll space it out in a couple days, otherwise the post will be long.

Spring Fling 2011 027 copy
I love these Medallion note cards, so we made up a set of cards and put them in one of the clear mount stamp set cases and used one of the cards to decorate the front. We split up the set of 8 between two people to keep our costs down.

Spring Fling 2011 029 copy
On the inside we cut down the envelope that went with the cover card and mounted it on the inside that you could store postage stamps in it.

Spring Fling 2011 030 copy
Here's the first card, I showed this one as a snippet of a sneak. I actually cut down the card to mount it on the back of the card and then onto a Baja Breeze card.

Spring Fling 2011 032 copy
Here's the second card, I didn't do too much to it, just added rhinestones.

Spring Fling 2011 033 copy
Bling baby!

Spring Fling 2011 034 copy
Here's the third card, I just added ribbon, again keeping it pretty simple.  The girls have a lot to do so we wanted fun and cute things for them to do.

Spring Fling 2011 035 copy
I got this beautiful bookmark from my SAM (Service Account Manager) Max at leadership that had this flower and key and embellishment on it so it gave us an idea to incorporate it into the new Petal Cone die. I love this.

Spring Fling 2011 036 copy
Here you can see the petal cone die better, we made it like a Mayday kinda basket that you could hang on a doorknob or the back of a chair. Wouldn't this be a nice gift to give…or receive?

OK, well I better hit the hay I gotta get up early so I can pack my truck and head out to set up for Spring Fling, I will share more of our day and make n takes in the next few days.

Have a blessed Sunday and thanks for stopping in.

Signature white 5

Oh yes, I'm officially jealous of all those who get to attend and make projects with you! I love the idea of putting a card set in the case! I make sets for my MIL and give her postage to send them and I could make 2 sets so I could just switch with her when she runs out!!

I love all these projects! GREAT idea for the Medallion card set!! You're gonna laugh at what I noticed and want to know more about, but…..where did you get that little tag on the front of the box?? And what does it say? "Everything"?? I just love that tag! And I almost laughed coffee out my nose when I read that little "statement" from the Life is Good blog!! That sounds EXACTLY like me!!! LOLOL!

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
