Take a Spin

Punches

18 Feb

006 copy

But don't break your wheel like I did tonight. I was wheeling back and forth in my studio like I always do and irk!!! I broke one of the wheels off my chair, I can still pretty much use it I just have to be careful, it has like 5 of them so I think that is why the chair is not making me fall.  Will have to look into getting a new one.  I had wanted to get another chair actually so I could keep one at the computer and one at my desk so I didn't have to wheel back and forth, that is probably why this one broke. Should have did it a week ago…ha!

I got the cutest swap card from Amy Caraluzzi and I knew I wanted to do it for my cupcake class, I changed the candle color and crimped the cupcake bottom, and shrunk the greeting layers but other then that it is is Amy's card.  Thanks Amy!

The other day I watched the last half of Crazy Heart, and well I love Jeff Bridges and he played the role very believable, but I was like sick of the whole him being drunk all the time, so I thought maybe I missed the beginning that was better. So tonight I caught it from the beginning and well I just got to see him be drunk longer. In fact I got to where I saw it before and turned it off.  I did like some of the songs though as I am a country western fan. I'd rather watch Starman, now that was a good Jeff Bridges movie!

Have a super Friday and thanks so much for stopping in.

Oh I really liked that movie. The songs were great for sure. and that fact that he did all the singing and playing in it was cool too. He was drunk alot though! But I still liked it. He is a great actor. I liked him in Seabiscuit too.

I love your card but, OMG!!! I soooo agree with you about Jeff Bridges and this movie! He is usually so sexy and I love his voice but hated to see him in this role. He did another movie I wasn't so crazy about [I think it was the Great Lebowski] cuz of his character in that movie, too. Starman was almost the best movie ever!

Cute card. I like the special things you did to it with the cupcake and the embossing folder. I LOVED that movie Starman. Have a great weekend. I will be sleeping tomorrow to recover from working tonight then finishing laundry. That's me, living the great life. I also need to work on the swap for this month stamp club.

I completely agree with you about Crazy Heart! The music was good, but the movie was a snooze fest. Seriously, would anyone leave their child with him? That whole scene was so predictable. Now, Starman — that's a classic!

Crazy Heart is not on my list of movies to watch. I, too, am not fond of drunks. Starman! Sigh. When he saved the deer! sniff Have to watch that again some time soon. Love your spinner card. I got a great chair with a soft seat, five wheels, tall back and lots of adjustments. Love it.

He was drunk a lot, but that was his character. I couldn't see how the female character, don't remember her name, would be attracted to him. A dirty smelly drunk. I also agree with your other blog reader, no way would I ever leave my son with him alone! That said I was dissappointed with the ending. Did like the performing parts though. "Star Man" is one of my all time fav's too! Just watched it a few months ago again. Night!
