But not as sweet as my friends though.
Look at these cute candy flowers that Ellie brought me the other day when the girls came to class. I gotta tell ya I am loving the dark ones they taste kinda black licorice-y. Thanks Ellie, you are the best!
She stamped the greeting on the cup with Stazon. The flowers are stamped and punched out with the scallop circle punch then poke a wooden scewer (better spell that word right eh?) through it and then into the candy. So darned cute.
I told you I would show you a picture of Penny eating her cake pop.
Thanks for being a good sport Penny. They are totally all gone, I even made up the left overs and Eric gobbled them all up.
So lookee what got installed today…so happy happy happy!
Upper cabinets on the last wall, the doors should be put on Friday or Saturday, so the end is near, I think then it's just the crown molding, and the bolt thingie for my 12×12 paper, then I can show you all of it. I'll wait till after March 5th though as that is my Open House to show it off.
Here's another view…see my lovely water heater way in the corner? Too funny a lot of people had no clue it was there cause we had a room divider-y thing covering it. There will be a fake cabinet that will cover it, and that way we can remove one side if we ever need to replace it.
Now to figure out where I want everything. Fun! I will definitely be getting rid of stuff that I used to use in here, containers, shelves, 12×12 cardstock keepers etc., and will put out stuff to sell later. Remember my super cute vintage-y cup and saucer dealie I was gonna put my punches on? Well it does not fit under the counters…crap, so now I need to find another use for it, or sell it.
Well I am gonna go do some arranging right now, so I am gonna say nightie night!
Have a great Tuesday and thanks so much for stopping in.
Doggone it, sorry you won't be able to use that cool thing you bought for the punches. I really liked it and thought it would be pretty cool. Thank goodness you didn't spend loads of $$ for it. How about putting it up on the wall somewhere else? What about the bathroom, the laundry room, Toby's room? Just trying to help out here. I love the little candy flower thingies. You can have the black ones, yech. Me, I'll take the orange ones anytime. I think Roscoe would be happy with any of them.
Carey and you know who
So happy it is all coming together for you. Can't wait to see the finished product! So exciting.
The room is looking great!!!!
i can't wait to see a panoramic view of it when it is all done!
Can't wait to see the finished room! Too cute – and the teases have been super fun.
Love ya',
Mel
Well now I've wiped the drool off the keyboard I can type OMG I love them!!! They are looking sooo good! Look at all that room! WOW! Have fun filling them up!
Vicky
Oh, my, I'm first! How'd that happen? Skewers, my dear, with a K. Love that idea and will swipe it at my first opportunity. So coveted one of your cake pops. Added a pound just thinking about them! Can't wait to see your finished room. My fave way to store punches is on an Ikea towel rack. I need about three more, but no bare wall to put them on! Happy times to you putting stuff away!
Ok Di,
I LOVE your friend too because these "flowers" are TOO adorable – what I love the most is that I could TOTALLY see myself making these for my friends… But I do have two questions (if that's ok…)
Do you happen to know which flower stamp she used that allowed her so much of a border when she stamped it out with the scallop circle punch (and I'm just guessing that it's our largest scallop circle punch?) – I love the white showing… I also love how HUGE those gumdrops are – where did she get those? Every gumdrop I've ever encountered is tiny!
Thanks so much for sharing – I really enjoyed this whole post today! Have a happy Tuesday!!!
Hugs,
Christine aka The Stampin' Ninja
Ohhh, Diana, I am Certainly Celery with envy! Heavenly to set up one's studio just the way they want it; you are so blessed!! Can't wait until Open House to see it…..
SQUEEEE…can't wait to see it all!! It looks amazing. I have my punches on the Ikea towel racks…love them stored like that..even the new style. I will be revealing my new room a little later than expected…at home in Ireland as my Mum passed away last week. I think I may go to the local auction to see if I can find anything fun for the studio.
Wow!! So many comments! The stamp set is retired but it is called So Many Scallops and was a hostess set I think. And, I did use the scallop punch. The 1 3/4 punch. The huge gum drops are from Wal-Mart, and you are right Diana, the black ones are licorice!! 🙂 But I noticed that there were a few missing already when you took the photo!! So glad you liked it!! Can hardly wait to see the room when it is done!
Mega hugs!
Wow everything looks great!!! Thinking I need to find a Plane Ticket to AZ to come play in your "Play Room". Giggling that you told me to turn Jessica's closet into crafting shelves the other night! Great Idea BUT I want what you have!!!!!!!!!! You go girl You so deserve it!
Love Ya

Love the look! Can't wait to see more pics. Prescott, AZ has so many antique places. I think you need to take a road trip for the sake of searching out an alternative for storing punches, of course. Thanks for sharing the adorable flower/candy idea.
Hey, Di. I did make a hostess gift like Ellie's flowers. I blogged pics from that workshop. Had to use the daisy from Hippie Birthday as my So Many Scallops set is long gone. Thank Ellie for the idea!
