More Spring Fling Make n Takes

3-D Items

14 Feb

Today was so much fun, I have to unpack, unload my camera and all that, and will post pics of the day tomorrow. Thanks girls for attending, I hope you had as much fun as Rhonda and I did putting it on!

I will share a few more of the projects the girls did.

Spring Fling 2011 017 copy
The girls made a matchbox and decorated it on the front with the Your a Gem set, some Baja Breeze Seam binding, and one of the fun key trinkets.

Inside was this…

…a beautiful brooch using a beveled windowpane, some baja breeze seam binding, rhinestones and the Sale-a-Bration set "Bliss"

Here you can see it a bit better.

We just hot glued the pin back on the back of the brooch, some of the girls hung the key from the brooch instead of putting it on the box. It is fun to see how some of the girls change things a tad.

I got the cutest candy wrapper from my friend Mandy Grant at Leadership and it was using the Love Letter DSP, but at Spring Fling the girls got some of the Sale-a-Bration DSP Ice Cream Parlor so we just changed it up a bit.

Isn't it cute?  Too funny, my friend Julie said that she would definitely lose weight if she had to wrap up her chocolate before she ate it. Ha!

Spring Fling 2011 023 copy
The girls got Rhinestones for coming too.  When we handed out their packets we made sure to tell them the candy was a make n take, and not a snack…ha!

So I just turned on the Grammy's and saw Gwyneth Paltrow singing with the muppets and some man in a bird suit, and I thought she was gonna wipe out standing up on the piano in 10 inch heels…I turned the channel…life is too short.

Well this old girl is calling it a night.

Have an awesome Monday and thanks for stopping in!

We started watching the Grammy's – saw Christina Aguleira fall after their tribute to Aretha Franklin – and then the musical guests they had on – sounded like crap – so I PVR'd it and will fast forward through all the BS when I get home. It was more fun to see who was in the crowd then to listen to some of the performances.
    Luv ya

I actually laughed, OUT LOUD, when I read what Julie said about the chocolate 🙂 So true!

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
