Oops! I missed my own Blog Anniversary!
It was three years on February 11. Can you believe it? It just seems like yesterday that I started and I wondered what the heck I would even talk about or show each day.
This post will stay on top of my blog until March 2 at noon Arizona time where I will pick the winner. So make sure you scroll down each day so you don't miss my daily post.
So to celebrate, I have some fun Blog Candy for you…
This Blog Candy consists of: Accents & Elements Fleurettes, Sending Love Epoxy Brads, Square Lattice Embossing Folder, Versamark pad, Punch Bunch stamp set, Two-Step Owl punch, and three hand stamped cards. These are all brand new unopened items. How's that for some fun stuff?
So what do you have to do to have a chance to win all these goodies? Answer this question please:
What is your favorite post from the last three years…and why?
Scroll down and enter your answer in the comment area underneath this post, no other days (click on the word comment and it will open up with a box to enter your comment into), emailing me does not count. Please make sure to include your email address, so I can contact you if you win (some peoples show up some don't). Only one entry per person please (to clarify as someone asked…that is only one entry for the blog candy and NOT one entry per day), I will delete the repeats…thanks!!!
Oh and if you don't see your comment right away, don't post another one, I have to approve of them cause of a lot of spam that was coming through…so "hold your horses" as Granny used to say….
I will pick a winner on March 2 at noon Arizona time.
I want to thank all of you for making these last three years so much fun!
Thanks for stopping in each day, I really appreciate it!
Hey Di, Congratulations on 3 years! That is so awesome. I have to say that my favorite post this last year was the day that I found your blog. It hooked me enough to make me check out all the pictures of your stamping studio (which I always love to look at other people's areas that they create in, and I cannot wait to see your new studio), and it also made me get hooked to check back every day. Or should I say night as I am usually up past midnight so I always click over then to see your latest post. Thanks for a fun blog, and one day I am going to drive out to QC and check you and your studio out. Or maybe we will meet at the groomers and then go to The Deli while the dogs are getting all pretty. 🙂

I guess my favorite thing about your blog is your cheery way you write about stampinup and other things. I also love to hear about the 'girls'. I have been wanting to get a couple of little hens, but my husband isn't as enthused about it as I am! Here's to anotehr 3 years! 🙂

I love ALL the posts of your "girls." I once was a farmgirl too and I miss having farm animals around. Nothing better than fresh eggs or whatever that animal may produce for you! I enjoy coming to your blog everyday. Keep up the good work and Happy Anniversary!
I'm new to stamping and I can remember a blog that you did using the number 2 box. You used a paisley print heart and old world paper. It was stunning. I enjoy your blog and your stories. Love your Yorkie. Happy Anniversary.
I can't give you a spacific blog post, I love them all! I enjoy your humor, love to see your creativity, your super cute pup and the girls…….
Thank you for sharing what you LOVE with us~!!
Congrats on three years! :^)
My favorite post is February 15, 2010 titled 'The Deli is "Deli"cious'. Since The Deli is just about my very favorite restaurant, I loved reading about it in your blog! :^) And you had such nice things to say–all true, of course! :^)
You want me to pick one post? I don't know if I can pick just one. They are all so good. I enjoy your cards but I also enjoy your posts about the girls and your studio coming together. Your writing makes me feels like I am there with you. Thanks for the chance to win. rainbowdar at aol dot com

Well, let me see, I know, it was the one where your husband was building the chicken coop, or the makeover of your new stamping space, no, it was the one where you went antique shopping and showed us all the really cute stuff you bought. That's it! I enjoyed seeing what you bought and how you were going to use it. Thanks for all your great blogging.
Susan Carlson says
Honestly, do I have to narrow my decision down to just one post??? Okay, it was your cinnamon rolls entry.
Thanks for the great chance to win blog candy. I hold up my wood block for a toast to more years of blogging!

Hmmmmm…. My favorite post? I love to get up each day and see what cutie patootie <(sp) thing you've sent me to make. But I absolutly love the post when the baby bunny craweled up your husbands coat sleve out in the yard to keep warm. That was the darn cutest thing. I think you sent us one about a hummingbird too, that was a close second. email@example.com
Wow! I have to pick just one??? I love how you talk about your girls, all your antique finds, your food pics and of course your wonderful creations.. I have your Swap from Leadership in a special place! Congrats on your 3 yrs!! Here's to many more to come!
It would be hard to pick just 1 favorite as so many of your cards and projects have inspired me. I will have to say I have really enjoyed the posts about your antique purchases and "the girls" thoroughly. I just love it that you provide details of your creativity in all aspects of your life which has motivated many times to get out and explore.
Felicidades on your 3rd Anniversary. My favorite post is the Magnetic Owl Calendars – I just love the concept and the owl eyes are so cute.

Oh how can I pick just one??? You have given me soo many good ideas and love the stories about the "girls". I found your blog just this year but have spent many hours looking around it. Well Girl, I have to say I just Love, Love, Love your post from May 1, 2010. The "Stinkin cute Bee Tutorial." I love your little owl calendars too, but that sweet little Bee was all your very own, and one of the most creative, sweet, fun little creatures I've seen in a long time! I can't thank you enough for being so generous as to put out a tutorial on him. I go back to that page quite often just to get a smile. Keep up the outstanding work. I love to tune in to your blog every single day!

My favorite post that comes to mind this morning is a video tutorial on the canopy card. I've made that card for Halloween, as a birthday card, and as a thank you card. Everyone loves it.
Well, I hope I win this time *-)! I'd love some of that blog candy!

My favorite post was your Kit kat wrapper tutorial because I used the idea to make table favours for a church party and everyone loved them thanks!
Favorite post – wow, that's a hard one…they are all great and show wonderful ideas — but I guess my favorite is still "Ya Bored Yet"? Love your finds and wish I had the time to go lookin'!

How do I pick a favorite post??? I've been following your blog for at least 2 years and love everything. My favorite post that is not SU related was of the baby bird. I love all the animals you show (humming birds, baby lizzard, chickens) and especially your sweet Toby! As for cards, I love your watercolored ones – you are amazing at that…and everything else. Thanks for sharing all your tallent with us!
I don't know if I can win since I am one of your downline, but my absolute favorite post was bread machine cinnamon rolls!!! make them fairly often and they always turn out! As for cards, easily the quilt card made with the squares and the top note die. Thats how I came to find you! It was the very first post I ever read of yours, I added you to favorites, and months later you "convinced" me to join SU!

MY ALL TIME FAVORITE WOULD BE ALL OF THE BLOGS OF YOUR "GIRLS". HAVING CHICKENS AT ONE TIME IT IS NICE TO THINK BACK ABOUT THAT TIME. THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES.
I love the posts about the hens. I don't know why since my Mum has chickens and I can't stand them but yours seem so much funnier. Maybe it's the way you describe them!
I see those photos you post and can just imagine you with your boots on fetching eggs. From the stamping room to hen house… very funny in my imagination! Hugs,

My absolute favorite post has nothing to do w/ stamping. It was the post of your son's graduation. It gave me hope…
Hi! I am a new follower. I am having so much fun reading through your blog. There were so many blog posts I enjoyed. I love your framed "Family" layout shared on Feb. 9, 2009. I also loved your most recent post with pictures of your hens. I am looking into building a coop in my backyard.
Thanks for sharing,
Happy 3rd Anniversary!! I love your creations and your blog talk…I find myself laughing so hard sometimes just reading…THANK YOU! And for my favorite post of all time! A Hummer of a Morning
This is my absolutely favorite post. Of course, I love all things Toby, being the owner of 3 Yorkies myself. Wait a minute…update. One of the pooches just reminded me that I have it backwards. They own me! Of course, I thoroughly enjoy all the SU posts, as well.
My favorite blog post is from Aug.19,2008. That is the day I discovered your blog! I had just started rubber stamping and I was visiting a bunch of blogs for card ideas. I remember clicking onto your blog and seeing the Kit Kat Wrapper Tutorial and thinking…OMG, You can make gifts with rubber stamps too!!! I LOVE giving small gifts to friends and family. Needless to say I've been hooked on your blog ever since! I check in every morning to see what new idea you will be sharing.
Happy Anniversary and I hope you have many more!
P.S.-Those cake lollipops look soooo yummy!
Wow too many great posts to choose from between cards, tutorials, techniques, etc – not to mention all your "funny" life stories that you share with us. So I guess I will pick something personal. Thank you for sharing your son with us and his many accomplishments – so favorite post – his graduation yeah!!! Karen from RI –

My favorite posts are when you talk about your family and "girls". I love all the cards and such you make but I love the real life stuff, makes coming and visiting you more personal. Thanks for a chance to win some blog candy! Have a great day. As far as my e-mail, can't you just put my name up on your blog if I win? If not, give the prize to someone else! Have a great day!
OMG! I am first, again! You are so mean to make me pick one. Your whole blog is a favorite of mine. If I had to pick, the one with the cool beaver statute outside the store when you went to Founders. I wonder why I chose that one!

Di: Happy 3rd Anniversary – Seriously that time just FLEW BY. My all time favorite post was when you introduced "the girls" and their new home. LOVE LOVE LOVE reading about your little feathered friends. I also loved your critter stories-The little bunny that your husband found was a favorite. LOVE YOUR BLOG-and thank you for sharing!
Happy anniversary! You're such an inspiration.

Happy Anniversary!! Wow, 3 years — that's a lot of postings…. How can you only pick one favorite!! One of my favorites is 'daisies #2 flower tutorial' (Sept 09). I love learning new 'how-to's' and techniques, especially with videos; plus I love paper flowers. Thanks for sharing so much with all of us.
Paulette S. in MO says
A favorite is going to be so hard, because I love your blog everyday! LOL So, I'm going to say when you did the tutorial with the crumb cake ink inside the vintage wall paper embossing folder. I didn't have that folder at the time, nor the crumb cake ink, but now I have both! And it got my wheels turning to use my embossing folders in a whole new way and I LOVE double duty tools and the effect you get w/this technique. Congrats on your Anniversary and what an Outstanding blog candy. =D
Hi Di, congrats on your blog=a=versary. I love your blog, gal. You are fun to read and I enjoy your cards.
My favorite postings are about your "gals" the chickens. The one where you were in the cage taking photos was funny. I just have one question – what do you DO with all those eggs every week??!!
Ruth Clark says
Your blog is so fun it's hard to pick just one that's my favorite but I did love the one talking about the baby bunny that was hiding in your husband's sleeve oh and the hummingbird video and, OK, OK, I'll stop. Thanks for the chance to win some neat candy and keep up the great work.
I liked the one when you introduced the "girls" by name. It reminded me of my growing up years tending the chickens for my mom and getting the eggs when they were still warm.
Nancy Berger says
Hi Di! Let me just say I love all your posts! From the girls, to the critters, to your recipes, to your tutorials, and of course, your fabulous cards. One of the things I love the most is your humor. We are soooo much alike! For that reason, I'm picking December 11, 2009 for my favorite post. I LOVE your card What's Up Doc? It just tickled my funny bone!
Happy 3rd Anniversary, Di! And Here's to many, many more!

Congrats! on 3 years. Its been an "E" ticket ride. Your too young to remember that, but Disneyland used to give books of tickets that were a, b, c, d & e…the wilder the ride, the farther into the alpha it was. The best rides were "E" tickets. Your an "E" ticket. I laugh when you make poop from ice cream, love to hear about your adopted Mamma, and your wonderful family. And I learn so much from you. Best Wishes for continued success.
