Blog Anniversary – 3 Years Already

This 'n' That

25 Feb

This Blog Candy is closed, and the winner has been chosen, thanks to everyone for entering.!

Hugs ~Di

Oops! I missed my own Blog Anniversary!

It was three years on February 11. Can you believe it? It just seems like yesterday that I started and I wondered what the heck I would even talk about or show each day.

This post will stay on top of my blog until March 2 at noon Arizona time where I will pick the winner. So make sure you scroll down each day so you don't miss my daily post.

So to celebrate, I have some fun Blog Candy for you…

  Three Year Anniversary Blog Candy

This Blog Candy consists of: Accents & Elements Fleurettes, Sending Love Epoxy Brads, Square Lattice Embossing Folder, Versamark pad, Punch Bunch stamp set, Two-Step Owl punch, and three hand stamped cards. These are all brand new unopened items.  How's that for some fun stuff?

So what do you have to do to have a chance to win all these goodies? Answer this question please:

What is your favorite post from the last three years…and why?

Scroll down and enter your answer in the comment area underneath this post, no other days (click on the word comment and it will open up with a box to enter your comment into), emailing me does not count.  Please make sure to include your email address, so I can contact you if you win (some peoples show up some don't).  Only one entry per person please (to clarify as someone asked…that is only one entry for the blog candy and NOT one entry per day), I will delete the repeats…thanks!!!

Oh and if you don't see your comment right away, don't post another one, I have to approve of them cause of a lot of spam that was coming through…so "hold your horses" as Granny used to say….

I will pick a winner on March 2 at noon Arizona time.

I want to thank all of you for making these last three years so much fun!

Thanks for stopping in each day, I really appreciate it!

Hey Di, Congratulations on 3 years! That is so awesome. I have to say that my favorite post this last year was the day that I found your blog. It hooked me enough to make me check out all the pictures of your stamping studio (which I always love to look at other people's areas that they create in, and I cannot wait to see your new studio), and it also made me get hooked to check back every day. Or should I say night as I am usually up past midnight so I always click over then to see your latest post. Thanks for a fun blog, and one day I am going to drive out to QC and check you and your studio out. Or maybe we will meet at the groomers and then go to The Deli while the dogs are getting all pretty. 🙂

I guess my favorite thing about your blog is your cheery way you write about stampinup and other things. I also love to hear about the 'girls'. I have been wanting to get a couple of little hens, but my husband isn't as enthused about it as I am! Here's to anotehr 3 years! 🙂

My favorite post is February 15, 2010 titled 'The Deli is "Deli"cious'. Since The Deli is just about my very favorite restaurant, I loved reading about it in your blog! :^) And you had such nice things to say–all true, of course! :^)

Well, let me see, I know, it was the one where your husband was building the chicken coop, or the makeover of your new stamping space, no, it was the one where you went antique shopping and showed us all the really cute stuff you bought. That's it! I enjoyed seeing what you bought and how you were going to use it. Thanks for all your great blogging.

    Hey Di!
Well Girl, I have to say I just Love, Love, Love your post from May 1, 2010. The "Stinkin cute Bee Tutorial." I love your little owl calendars too, but that sweet little Bee was all your very own, and one of the most creative, sweet, fun little creatures I've seen in a long time! I can't thank you enough for being so generous as to put out a tutorial on him. I go back to that page quite often just to get a smile. Keep up the outstanding work. I love to tune in to your blog every single day!

As for cards, easily the quilt card made with the squares and the top note die. Thats how I came to find you! It was the very first post I ever read of yours, I added you to favorites, and months later you "convinced" me to join SU!

A favorite is going to be so hard, because I love your blog everyday! LOL So, I'm going to say when you did the tutorial with the crumb cake ink inside the vintage wall paper embossing folder. I didn't have that folder at the time, nor the crumb cake ink, but now I have both! And it got my wheels turning to use my embossing folders in a whole new way and I LOVE double duty tools and the effect you get w/this technique. Congrats! on 3 years. Its been an "E" ticket ride. Your too young to remember that, but Disneyland used to give books of tickets that were a, b, c, d & e…the wilder the ride, the farther into the alpha it was. The best rides were "E" tickets. Your an "E" ticket. I laugh when you make poop from ice cream, love to hear about your adopted Mamma, and your wonderful family. And I learn so much from you. Best Wishes for continued success.
