Watercolor Class Two 009 copy

We'll take a break today from the recaps to show you one of the cards the girls will be doing at my watercolor class this weekend. I saw a cute card by Jenn Diercks and I tweaked it a tad…thanks Jenn!

I love these little kids and it is a perfect stamp set for watercoloring.  Don't live in Arizona? Can't take a class? But you want to learn how to watercolor too?  I have a PDF tutorial for $3.95 for how to watercolor with ink refills that shows you how easy it is.  If you check out this post it will tell more about it, and also there is a link on the right hand side of my blog that has the paypal link.

Watercolor Class Two 008 copy
Stamp Set: Tiny Tags, Greeting Card Kids

Paper: Real Red, Basic Black, Watercolor paper, Love Letter DSP

Ink: Jetblack Stazon

Misc: Blender pen, watercolor pencils, jewelry tag punch, basic black striped ribbon, vintage trinkets, circle dies, spiral border punch, perfect polka dot embossing folder

Did you see the thin basic black striped ribbon? No? Well look again…

Watercolor Class Two skinny 009 copy
Now I bet you are saying "well Stampin' Up! does not sell thin striped ribbon?" and you are right, but we sell ribbon scissors, and I just cut the wide striped ribbon in half…ha! Cool eh? Just pull some of the threads and it will fray a little bit.

So I have Iron Chef on and they are cooking organs and stuff, OMG! I think I just saw a comb from a rooster…blech! and I hope those judges get paid a lot of money for their job cause you would have to pay me a whole lot before I would eat some of the stuff they are fixing.

I got my hair colored today (gotta wash that gray right outta my hair) and I also got a trim but I have been letting my hair grow, so when I got home, my hair is really straight and so soft and Jeff said it looked really nice and more like my hair should look for my age as the other cut was for a younger person. So those might not be the exact words he said but that is how I heard them. You know the whole Men Mars, Women Venus thing right? I never read the book so I am assuming that is what it is about.

I did make breakfast for supper, sausage, bacon and french toast and Jeff said it was the best supper he has had in a long time, hopefully I don't kill him with all the fat.  I can hear my BFF Tracy saying "Diana he is supposed to watch his cholesterol!" but we don't eat like that all the time, and he didn't have to have two plates. I behaved and only ate a bit, I am down 2 pounds and want to keep it up, I mean going…even with danged old Aunt Flo on the way…ha!

Well it's that time to say nightie night, and see you tomorrow.

Have an awesome Friday and thanks for stopping in!

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
