A Look Back at August 2010

This 'n' That

11 Jan

I'm watching Sam I Am, I have never seen it before, you would think that I would have because of Eric, but I never did.  It is pretty good, and a tear jerker and the acting is superb. I think I missed where they said where the Mum was unless that is still to come. So right now I am not liking the Laura Dern character.

So let's check back on August 2010.

August recap 1
I think this was one of my favorite Halloween cards I did this year, you can check it out at this post.

August recap 2
Yum, the cinnamon rolls that you can't just eat one of, this post was my first attempt at making them.

August recap 3
At Convention there was an amazing candy display made with paper, pearls ribbons and everything BUT candy. You can see more pictures on this post.

August recap4
I love this card, and this post shows how to do the spotlighting.

August recap 5
My new camera, I love it, and this post talks a bit about it. I still need to practice more but I love the feel and sound of it, and it takes great pictures.

August recap 6
This was one of the gorgeous make n takes from Convention, you can read about it on this post.

Well that should do it, I am working on my swap cards for Leadership.

Have a super Tuesday and thanks for stopping in!

Good Morning! I enjoy your blog…and just wanted to tell you that I saved your cinnamon roll receipe and have used it a lot…they are easy and delicious! Sometimes, I mix them up and roll them out then refrigerate and bake in the morning. Everyone loves them..thanks for sharing!

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
