A Little Tease

This 'n' That

19 Jan

This morning Mark dropped off the cutting counter and the base for the cardstock cabinet.  It is not all the way installed but it is usable, and on Friday they will install the upper cabinets and the cardstock cabinet.  I can hardly wait, I love it so far.

Here's a sneak peek, cause Mel thought it would be fun to do that.

Look at that gorgeous wood, and I am so glad I went with natural wood and did not paint it or stain it. The detail is so beautiful and the drawers are so deep.  I have not put anything inside yet cause I want to wait till it is all in. Mark has to remove some of the baseboard in order to put the lower cabinets in, cut a hole for the cable cord and not sure what else.

Wanna see the counter top?

I love love love the counter.  I need to get a couple lamps that I can set on the counter, cause right now I just have clamp lights and they won't work when it is up against the wall.

I went to the dentist today and had a cleaning, and for the first time in forever that is all I needed, usually I have a cavity, or the last few times, I had crowns that had to be fixed, or cracked teeth, I swear if I was a horse with my bad teeth and ears, I don't even know if I would be glue worthy.  So everything was good…(knock on my new wood cabinet)…and they did a flouride treatment that I have never done before, it is a sticky jel stuff that they brushed on and it stayed on quite a while, it will brush off when I brush my teeth before bed but the benefits will last for months.  But OMG! my teeth looked horrible after cause they looked all thick and whiteish and I had to go to the grocery store, I had forgot to put my carmex in my purse so I was a bit panicky, and I had to pick up a few groceries, so I tried not to talk to anyone or smile.

OK, this post is a quickie, I'll post some of our Grand Ole Opry pictures tomorrow.

Have an awesome Wednesday and thanks for stopping in!

Oh My Goodness Diana, those cabinets look fabulous. I can smell the scent of real wood all the way in California. Do you need to put a coat of something over them to keep them from cracking in the dry AZ air??? I can't wait to see everything all together. Those counter tops are to die for lolol I get an idea now with all the antique shopping you have been doing, it is going to look amazing!

The cabinets and counter top is gorgeous. I know that everyone thought I was crazy when I went w/ hickory for my kitchen. It's beautiful and still looks like 'real wood'. lol

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
