Springtime Smiles

Being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator

18 Dec

DSCN3217 copy

Wow, we got up this morning and there was so much fog.  I kept telling Eric I could see like a swamp monster coming to get me out of the fog and he should say home from work and protect me, he just laughed and headed off to work.

Tomorrow is my downline Christmas shoebox and pizza party.  I finished up their little goodies and got my swap done. A shoebox swap is you design a card, you make one as the master to copy from and then you cut supplies for so many people.  We are doing 7 cause that is all the time we will have. The cards we don't make we can just take a picture of them.

I wanted to use stuff from the new Occasions Mini catalog that starts in January.  The theme was spring or summer so this is the card I am doing.

Gotta love those vintage trinkets. Yum! This is the new Pear Pizzazz seam binding, I love this stuff, it has some sparkle but it is light and ties so nice and also is fun to do the scrunching on the sticky strip too.

Tip:To get the striped top note.  I glued the strips of DSP on the very vanilla cardstock then I ran it through the top note die. Presto!

WOW! this is so gorgeous! I was really himing and hawing this stamp set because I like it, but wasn't sure what I would do with it. I hope it is okay if I shamelessly case your card, and link to your blog. I just LOVE this! Thank you again for your inspiration!

Oh, they are going to really enjoy making your card. I love making quilting look cards with my Top Note Die. People are always so amazed and we know how easy it really is. The little touches on your creation with the scrunched ribbon, the safety pin and the pearls really make it pop. Have a fantastic time today.

My preorder (sent it in Monday) will be here Christmas Eve! Easter Blossom is in there. I love dogwoods, so couldn't resist. Can't believe SU shipped it 12 hours after I ordered it. Either they are working their little hineys off or they're not very busy! Love your sample! I didn't get the DSP, but maybe next time. ((()))

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
