Hugs & Kisses

This 'n' That

15 Dec

DSCN3202 copy

Today I made 6 dozen Macaroon Kisses.  I needed 4 dozen for a cookie exchange I am going to tomorrow. I posted the recipe to make these here. In fact a few of you have asked me lately for the recipe again and it made me want to make them, so it was perfect for the exchange.

I had fun taking pictures of them, they look like little snowballs eh?

I made up a quick recipe card to take with me and I used My Digital Studio to do it.  Here it is if you want it, it is a word document, and I just cut them into fours.  Download Macaroon Kisses Recipe Today was busy with baking and other stuff, and oh yeah I finally just went ahead and bought a new desk. I know, it aint an antique but I like it and I hope I will like it even more when it is all put together.  Big hugs to my hubby for getting it almost put together today.

Look at this mess, I almost didn't post it but a lot of people have been asking how the room is going…ha! well not much has changed yet.

So this is as far as the desk got done, he did pretty good, cause I think there had to be at least a million pieces.  My job was to sort out the screws, that is what the red cups are for, I labeled the cup with the style of screw. Anal? Umm…well maybe.

Well that's it for me, my magnet sheets got here today, so I gotta finish my calendars up.

Have a great Wednesday and thanks for stopping in!

Oh thank you for this again. I had forgotten about these. I ran with the recipe and put it in MDS with all kinds of pretty paper and embellishments. I have such a great time with MDS and have started a darling recipe book. Thanks also for showing us pics of the studio- the desk is great. It looks like it has plenty of space for Roscoe to lie down in while you play.

So funny, when I build something like this I sort all the different types of screws into clear containers so I can see which is which. Have fun putting it all together. Your room is looking good.

    Hi Di,

I made these and they are fabulous! Thanks for sharing! I used rosebuds instead of kisses as I didn't have those and they still were yummy!
