Having Fun with Toby

This 'n' That

11 Dec

So today I worked on Christmas cards, and cutting out paper for another little project I am doing, so needless to say I didn't get anything stamped. I still have a couple cards to share that I got from Jan, but tonight I procrastinated going to bed and was messing around with the computer.

I had Jeff take this picture of Toby the other day. Look how cute he is?

So then I wanted to play around with the picture a bit, I have photoshop on my computer but I am like totally dumb about it, I use it to add my watermark, I use it to size my pictures and crop…that's it.  I don't know how to work any of the other things in it. I did watch a thing on YouTube about it, but it was a different version then I have so it made no sense at all to me. So tonight I just tinkered around with it, again not knowing what the heck I was doing.  I clicked on this and that and made a few different looks for the picture, then I opened up My Digital Studio and yanked them into a page, saved it as a jpeg, and here it is.

Toby having fun

It's kinda cool looking, the center photo is the original, and I have a few favorites (I like the one on the bottom right that is poster corners or something like that) I might like to try with some other pictures.  I know my friend Melissa is going to teach a photography class, and I will have to see if photoshop is part of it…ha!

Well I am gonna head into bed. I finished Love Rosie today and it was so good, a definite must read. Now I am back to my Blackdagger Brotherhood Series, I got the latest one the other day.

Have an awesome Saturday, and thanks for stopping in!

Very cool block of photos. I think my fav is the top right hand that makes Toby more of a redhead. Bet the little guy was happy to get some air time so he can start to catch up with the "girls"!

    Hugs from chilly Oregon!

I think they are all fantastic. After all, they are pics of the great Toby!! Thanks for sharing them with us. I have Adobe and have just started playing around with it in my spare time. Which means not much time at all. I am so busy (just like everyone else this time of year). I just noticed it is in the 60's around your place. Here it is raining and is supposed to go down to the teens later. I am ready for spring.

Yorkies are so cute and Toby is extra special. Yorkies are what my SIL calls "designer dogs." High maintenance. Toby looks worth it and well taken care of.

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
