I think. It's the first with pictures anyway. I hooked up the external hard drive and copied files over so that was much easier then doing that little portable drive I did for all my SU! files. But I am glad I did, it copied all my Diana files but it gave me some error about a file name being too long so it would not do the SU! ones. So someday I have nothing better to do I need to get on here and move things back where they need to be and delete stuff I don't want anymore.
Today I also got my wireless printer hooked up, that was very easy.
I told you yesterday that I would share my downline Christmas Shoebox Pizza party with you. So here goes, it was a fun day:
Here's the girls working on their shoebox cards, the pizza didn't come till noon so we had about 45 minutes to stamp before it got here. From left to right. Marlene a.k.a. MAMMa, Mari, Julie, April, Emilie, Melissa (who you can't really see cause of the angle of the picture), Rhonda & Carri
So let see these gorgeous cards they designed for us to make. Those of you that don't know what a shoebox swap is, everyone designs a card, and brings one finished to copy from. Then they cut all the supplies for a certain number (we did 7) and then seven people make the card. It is called shoebox cause you could bring your supplies in a shoebox sized container to pass around.
So nuff said here's the cards…got yer drool ready?
Card designed by April Horned – she used my favorite DSP
Card designed by Mari Gonzalez – she used a new set that will be available for Sale-a-Bration
Card designed by Carri Anderson – she did the technique polished stone that I love
Card designed by Rhonda Morgan – look at those darling flowers, circles that are embossed!
Card designed by Melissa Harper – no stamping involved…ha!
Card designed by Emilie Tetreault – I love these colors together
Card designed by Julie Craig – love the ribbon treatment
Here is Julie's card laying down so you can see it better, she did it with cardstock vellum so you can see the DSP inside the card, way cool.
Designed by MAMMa (kinda) there were not enough packets and she had to leave early to do Grandma duty, so I cut some paper but I didn't have the right ribbon, so we used striped ribbon instead.
This is MAMMa and the original card, we took the picture before she left.
Well I think that is all I got to share today, there is a danged old fly bothering me, you know the kind, as soon as you get the flyswatter it disappears, or it lands on me so I can't hit it with the flyswatter…grrr…I am trying to finish up my GoDiva swaps for Robin so I can get those in the mail.
Have a great Monday, the week headed into Christmas, yikes so much to do. I hope you are all ready. I gotta get my butt to the grocery store.
Talk to you tomorrow, thanks for stopping in!
Great cards and everyone looks like they are having a great time too! (Do I sound a little jealous? lol!)
Looks like you had a good time with your shoebox!
Luv ya
Jax
Love all the different cards. A lot of talented people.
What wonderfully talented people!! I would love to come down to AZ and play with ya'll sometime. I think you should take the rest of the week off of blogging and just enjoy Christmas. We haven't seen a pic of Eric or the girls (not necessarily together) in a long time. Hint, hint. Thanks for all you share with us, I for one really enjoy it.
Hugs
Carey and Roscoe
My Creative Images gals are having our first shoebox swap in January. I've been to several, but none with this group. My St. Louis buddy Dee will be here and is going to join us. Wanna come? Love your gals' cards, especially Julie's and April's. Gonna have to CASE those someday. {{{}}}
