This 'n' That

14 Nov

When I started out thinking I should start a blog, cause everyone was doing it, now if everyone jumped off a bridge I would not do that…(can't you hear your Mum saying that?) but this was different.

I thought gee what would I write about? Why would anyone want to read what I have to say? How would I find enough stamping stuff to post? How do I do it? Then I just started blabbing, talking about this and that, showing this and that…and it just kinda started to happen.

If you do read all the time you already know I type like I talk, which when I was doing my PDF tutorial my girlfriend that helped me said that I would need to word the tutorial differently so it can be translated so people understand it, she had me laughing, cause I didn't think about that.

I can't tell you how much it means to me when you comment or email me that what I posted that day tugged on a heart string, brought back a good memory or even a bad one, inspired you to try out a new technique, or an old one, made you cry, or had you spitting your beverage all over your keyboard from laughter.

I just wanted to post a note to YOU, my faithful blog reader, and even YOU that are reading for the first time.  You have touched my life, like you won't ever know.  Well unless I meet you in person, and then I can hug your neck.

To all my readers, who I consider friends really, have a blessed Sunday, and THANKS from the bottom of my heart for stopping in!

Signature white 5

    Thats kind words xx

I have not been blogging long, about 7 or 8 months now. I am still new & learning, still don't know how to do links to other fellow bloggers blogs!!!
Wish there was a class available so I could write an idiots guide for myself Lol

Anyway, I am like you too, I write how I speak & sometimes forget myself when I may write slang or words that not everyone knows!!

I just love all the inspiration blogs give me, tutorials available & tips too.
I do not bother with craft mags anymore coz they give me no inspiration at all (unless there is a free gift I want)Lol

    Regards Sally

After reading the blog so much, I feel like I know you, but I didn't want you to think I was a stalker! (smile) Anywhoo, keep it up. I love it.

You are my favorite blog, just because you type "whatever comes to mind" and I've come to enjoy your antiquing, your recipes, and, especially, stories about the "girls and their eggs and antics." I'm sure I'm not alone when I say I feel like I've known you forever. Your cards and tutorials are wonderful. So, just keep being you – because that it what makes the blog!

Gotta ask though you read Nora Roberts Blood Brothers, did you read the other two following it? I am on the second one, so far so good.

I also have Eclipse on my list for Netflix cannot wait to get it.

Thanks! What a sweet post. I love reading your blog. I visit ALMOST daily, unless life is just crazy!

When I was growing up, I had chickens as pets. Crazy huh? Well, now that you have chickens, I have been putting a little bug in my husband's ear about getting a few chickens. Nevermind we live in a neighborhood that doesn't allow them. Reckon I could hide them out? Don't know if we ever will, but reading about your babies is fun and brings back memories. Every time we used to eat corn on the cob we would throw the cob in the chicken yard and those girls would peck those cobs clean. Used to be so funny.

Sorry, didn't mean to write a book. Just wanted to post a "thanks" for thinking about me today!!
