When I started out thinking I should start a blog, cause everyone was doing it, now if everyone jumped off a bridge I would not do that…(can't you hear your Mum saying that?) but this was different.
I thought gee what would I write about? Why would anyone want to read what I have to say? How would I find enough stamping stuff to post? How do I do it? Then I just started blabbing, talking about this and that, showing this and that…and it just kinda started to happen.
If you do read all the time you already know I type like I talk, which when I was doing my PDF tutorial my girlfriend that helped me said that I would need to word the tutorial differently so it can be translated so people understand it, she had me laughing, cause I didn't think about that.
I can't tell you how much it means to me when you comment or email me that what I posted that day tugged on a heart string, brought back a good memory or even a bad one, inspired you to try out a new technique, or an old one, made you cry, or had you spitting your beverage all over your keyboard from laughter.
I just wanted to post a note to YOU, my faithful blog reader, and even YOU that are reading for the first time. You have touched my life, like you won't ever know. Well unless I meet you in person, and then I can hug your neck.
To all my readers, who I consider friends really, have a blessed Sunday, and THANKS from the bottom of my heart for stopping in!
you're quite welcome…. I thoroughly enjoy your blog and get so many ideas and few that I say…wished I could do that….lol. Thanks for sharing….
Di,
I read your blog every day and you have more than once had me in stitches! Your SU! Creations are fabulous and always inspire me and I thank you for that!
Cheers!
Julie
No Di it's you I thank you. I love your blog and have been following for a couple years now. I leave a comment from time to time but not as regular as I should. I know your family like I've known them my whole life. Your amazing critter stories warm my heart and your adventures with your BFF crack me up! I so look forward to your blog post and seeing what's new in your neck of the woods. Your accomplishments this year with SU have made me proud. You warm out hearts Di I'm glad to call you friend. You met my BFF Carey at convention this year too. Thanks for all you do. Patrice
Love you girl!! I can't wait to see what you're up to each day.

Good morning! And thanks for all you do. I check in every day (at least once)and want to say how much I enjoy your style, both in your writing and your crafting. I don't comment as often as I should but, please know that I am here just loving it. I think you are someone I would love to get together with for a coffee and some stampin'!
You are welcome, Diana! Thank you for being so genuine in your posts. I feel like I do know you, in a weird sorta way. Maybe we'll meet some time in person.
I have a baby blog. Who knows where it'll take me in the future!
Thats kind words xx
I have not been blogging long, about 7 or 8 months now. I am still new & learning, still don't know how to do links to other fellow bloggers blogs!!!
Wish there was a class available so I could write an idiots guide for myself Lol
Anyway, I am like you too, I write how I speak & sometimes forget myself when I may write slang or words that not everyone knows!!
I just love all the inspiration blogs give me, tutorials available & tips too.
I do not bother with craft mags anymore coz they give me no inspiration at all (unless there is a free gift I want)Lol
Regards Sally

'Sending love and thanks. I'm regularly inspired by your creativity, Diana; and I love your sense of humor. 'Wish you were my next-door, stop-in-for-tea, stamp-together, laugh-and-cry-together neighbor! (I'm even attached to your "girls"!!!) XO
You are so sweet! 🙂
Thank YOU, Di. You're an inspiration and lots of fun.
Thank you for creating this blog, I am a daily visitor!
Thank you so much for all of the time you commit ot your blog and your beautiful creations. I too have considered jumping off the bridge, but don't know where to start so I continue! Thank You
Di…I don't comment often but thought I would take this opportunity to tell you how much I love reading your blog. Although I love stamping, I love all your cute animal stories and pictures. I cannot wait to see what you post every day. Thank you for sharing with us!
Keep on keepin' on sister!! It keeps me close! Luv ya Jax
Di…you are so sweet. I read your blog daily for inspiration and laughs (LOL). One of things I will always regret is when I went to convention in 2008 I did not go over and meet you. After reading the blog so much, I feel like I know you, but I didn't want you to think I was a stalker! (smile) Anywhoo, keep it up. I love it.
You are my favorite blog, just because you type "whatever comes to mind" and I've come to enjoy your antiquing, your recipes, and, especially, stories about the "girls and their eggs and antics." I'm sure I'm not alone when I say I feel like I've known you forever. Your cards and tutorials are wonderful. So, just keep being you – because that it what makes the blog!
Well lady, you are so funny I can't help myself read about your daily goinings-on!!
I will admit that with other blogs I usually don't read them but yours draws me in hook, line and sinker. I really enjoyed watching you on stage a convention and you are so down to earth! Keep on talking and I'll keeo on reading!
Thanks also for all the great work and ideas you share!! You are an amazing artist!
Vicky
with such gracious thoughts today, Diana, I don't even miss seeing one of your fun cards! I enjoy your 'ramblings' as much, or more, than your creations and am glad to have met you a time or two and even taken one of your classes. Keep it up!
I look forward to getting that hug, you make me smile everyday….and your such a help across the miles. Thank YOU!!
Hi Di!
I think of you very often! Your blog is one I stop daily! I gotta check and see what you are up to. Unfortunately I'm one of those bad followers who doesn't always leave you a note! I know bad – bad girl!! LOL
I also often think of you on Sat or Sun mornings when I'm making those AWESOME cinnamon rolls from the recipe you were so kind to share! YUMMMA!!
Good Luck on many more years & I will continue to be one of your followers!!
maria
Diana I love coming to your blog to see what you are up to: what you bought, what you created, what's up in your life, sharing Eric and Jeff stories. I so look forward to it. I love all your creations and have cased a few.
Gotta ask though you read Nora Roberts Blood Brothers, did you read the other two following it? I am on the second one, so far so good.
I also have Eclipse on my list for Netflix cannot wait to get it.
See you tomorrow.
Inky Hugs,
Terry~~
Thank you! You fill all your reader lives with creativity and always have an interesting thing to say! Of all the blogs that I've commented on you are the only one that sent a personal response via e-mail. thank you for being so personable and wonderful!
I want to take this time to say "Thank You, Diana." Can't tell you how many times I sit here laughing outloud as I'm reading your blog. I initially came to your blog to learn about cardmaking but I've learned so much more. Reading your blog gives me a burst of happiness.
Thank YOU for giving a funny start to my mornings and inspiration for my stamping. You are so easy to relate to and seem to be such a genuine person. I love getting to share a bit of your day. You're the best!
Happy day to you,
Deidra
Whatever you're doing, don't change it. I enjoy visiting because you never know what's coming off that keyboard. I appreciate all your creativity and you sharing it with us. Thanks many times over.
Thank YOU Diana, for teaching, inspiring, and entertaining us!
I don't comment often, but maybe I should. I just feel that you don't have time to read every whim I feel to chat on. LOL You seem to be such a down to earth person. I love hearing about Jeff & Eric, all our trips, local and otherwise and your "girls". You have inspired me to try some new things. I subscribe to your blog so I don't miss a thing!!! HUGS
Diana, I found you a few weeks ago and I am a follower. Thanks for posting your blog. Have a great day.
Thank you SO MUCH for sharing daily. I read it daily. I look forward to your ideas and funny and down-to-earth stories. I know this takes a huge chunk of time and commitment. Love it.
Di–I look forward to reading your blog every day! I love that you "type like you talk!" It makes me feel like you're my friend, as well as my inspiration. I've been thinking of starting a blog for awhile, but just been too scared to take the plunge! It might be my New Year's resolution…but maybe not for 2011, because that's coming WAY too quickly! LOVE yours, though, you are so warm, funny and talented! Thank you for sharing your creativity with us!!
I loved seeing you pictured in and reading about your promotions,(large sales, etc.)in our demo magazine this month! Someday when I get off my hobby @$$, I will be at Founders Circle… LOL! And I absolutely love that you type like you talk.
-Becs
Thanks for all you talk about on your blog. I love all your adventures with the girls, Toby, your human family, your antiques and of course, your stamping and creating. It is a privilege for me to call you one of my blogs I follow. Thank you for your kindness. Yes, Patrice and I are BFF and have some great stories. I am the culprit that got her addicted to paper.

Well – thanks right back at ya! I really appreciate the warmth and humor that you bring to my day. I read every post and am always amused, inspired and amazed by you. THANKS! ~chris
Thanks! What a sweet post. I love reading your blog. I visit ALMOST daily, unless life is just crazy!
When I was growing up, I had chickens as pets. Crazy huh? Well, now that you have chickens, I have been putting a little bug in my husband's ear about getting a few chickens. Nevermind we live in a neighborhood that doesn't allow them. Reckon I could hide them out? Don't know if we ever will, but reading about your babies is fun and brings back memories. Every time we used to eat corn on the cob we would throw the cob in the chicken yard and those girls would peck those cobs clean. Used to be so funny.
Sorry, didn't mean to write a book. Just wanted to post a "thanks" for thinking about me today!!
Hy,
I'm from Montreal (Quebec CANADA) and I come to see you every week. I enjoy your work, your creativity and you, the way you are!!!
I feel spoilled by you because you share so much with us. Thank you
Lison (french person, with a so-so english tong)
While I don't read you every day, I do catch up a couple times a week and try to comment often. I love everything about your blog, especially how you type like I imagine you talk. Loved spying you in the new Success (page 25) in your pretty pink shirt. Did you read about backyard chickens in Sunday's Parade? Thought of you when I read it. Keep up the good work!
Di, I'm a few days behind in viewing your blog, but I do visit often and you are one of my favs because you are such a sweetie and so HONEST!! You crack me up with your observations about people and how you sweetly poke fun at the "proper" way to do things, but in such a nice and fun way. Oh, in addition, you share your beautiful creations!! Thank YOU for continuing to talk about SU, family, life and everything else inbetween!!
You are such a sweetheart 😉 I love your stuff, not too tizzy or sickly sweet. I love that it's more honest and funny, while still being high quality. Keep up the great work!
