Owl Calendars

Diana Gibbs 2011 owl calendar close

Whoo! Whoo!

Today I worked on 2011 Magnetic Calendars to put in my Etsy store.  These are such fun to do.  They take a bit of time to put the little hooter together, but he is so worth it.  I did them assembly line like.

I put on HGTV and went to work.

There is a magnet on the back so you can hang him on the fridge or any metal service.

So these little guys are looking for a good home.  Thanks for checking them out.

Oh and if anyone watches the TV show The Middle, can you tell me why the little boy repeats in a whisper what he said last?  I really want to like that show, but I wish it was as funny as Everybody Loves Raymond.  I do however really like Modern Family.

Have an awesome Thursday and thanks for stopping in!

This is just adorable! I'm wondering where you bought the little calendars that you put on your beautiful work of art?

I have lots of metal surface to put calendars on! These are really cute. Love the sequin eyes. Cheaper than googly eyes, but just as cute. TYFS

My upline made all of us one of your calendars for our last meeting. So stinkin' cute!!

I love Modern Family, too. It always makes me laugh out loud. I'm a little behind on Brothers and Sisters, but I was really unhappy with the storyline of Scotty cheating on Kevin. They had the most stable relationship on the show!

Diana . . .I saw these earlier when you first posted them and just LOVED them! I did them for my last meeting with my downline (I always make them a little "treat" for our meetings) and they LOVED them too! I see several Xmas presents coming up, too. . .thanks soooo much for sharing this darling project!

The little boy on the show The Middle youngest child, who is an unusual boy who loves to read and has a habit of whispering the last words in a sentence. He is exceptionally intelligent, but is somewhat autistic and easily distracted, leading him to procrastinate on – or just forget – his homework assignments and projects.
I like the show. It grows on you!

    Hi Di~

I watch The Middle and I actually kinda like it because they aren't the perfect family with the perfect life…they make mistakes and I feel better about my parenting. 🙂

In the first episode, they talked about naming their kid Brick so he would be a cool kid with a cool name and obviously, that didn't happen. The whispering thing is just one of his odd little quirks. He says "it relaxes me." Is it sad that I remember that? I watch too much TV.

Anyway, I would want to know so I'm letting you know.

Where do you get the little calendars that you put on the project? These calendars are AWESOME. I love your blog. THANKS!!

Oh this is just darling. I would never have thought to use the sparkling things for his eyes. I didn't even realize they were there till I read Kathyrn's post. You are one smart and creative cookie. Did you see the special last night on Prince William and Katherine's (they are suggesting people start calling her that) engagement? It was really nice. I can't wait to see the dress she picks out. It is going to be dynamite.

    Hi,
A lot of you have asked about the little calendars I used on my owl magnetic calendar.
I got them at vippies.com and they were the medium size.
    Hugs,
    Di

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
