Merry Crittermas

This 'n' That

8 Nov

DSCN2957 copy

When I was at Founder's Circle I actually missed September to Remember that Rhonda and I put on every year.  I have talked about it in past posts.  MAMMa was a dear and helped us out since I was not going to be there. Gotta love her.  Well when I got home and we met up for lunch to chat they handed me a small stack of swap cards. These were cards that they got repeats of or that were cards that my team or customers had swapped.  How sweet are they? So I wanted to share this one.

How cute eh?  This was stamped by my friend and one of my downline Karen Meinerz. I love all the touches and the awesome coloring she did too. Thanks Karen, sending you big hugs!

See that nice big scallop and the rick rack shape? That comes from the Tasteful Trim Bigz Die in the mini catalog.

So I was talking to my BFF Tracy about Desperate Housewives  - spoiler alert! Don't read more if you don't want to be spoiled.  Anyway, I totally guessed that Paul's new wife was gonna end up being that woman in prison's kid.  Did you guess it?

Well I have a total mess in my stamp room, I have been going through cabinets and getting an idea of what I need the new cabinets to be like, I've been tossing stuff, boxing stuff up to sell, all sorts of fun…ha! You would be amazed at how much stuff I could get in that black jewelry armoire. Too funny! Jeff and I went to Home Depot today to get a bid from them, holy moly, at least they were much more helpful with the computer as they did the figuring out. IKEA is not looking too bad now…cost wise. I also have another couple ways to go so am trying to get all my ducks chickens in a row…ha! Speaking of chickens, we got a third double yolker, Alice is quite the layer.  Oh and Stella is still not laying, but she is a total petting hog. I can't go out there without her not crying to be petted.  Jeff said "you realize they just know that you feed them and that is what they want?" and I do know that, but I still pretend, they really love me and not the food.

I am gonna sign off for now and hit the hay. I can tell winter is getting here, my skin is so dry. Blech, I am sure age is part of it too. Boo!!

Have an awesome Monday and thanks for stopping in!

I went to Ikea a couple of months ago for my first time. Had to drive almost 4 hours to get there. Luckily my daughter who had been there before helped me because I was so overwhelmed and frustrated. If you are not strong enough to lift some of those boxes you are in trouble because they don't help you there at all. The prices are great but the help is no help!

Cute card. Your friends are really talented. I love going through my cabinets and remembering what I have. I am trying to be more mindful of what I buy so I don't have to find things and think what the heck was I going to do with that. The girls are doing a good job. This week is kind of crazy with the weather. Today it is supposed to get up to 75 but on Friday night last week it was 21. This old body just doesn't know how to react. I hope you have a fantastic Monday.

Hey!! I guessed that LAST week!! I wonder what the full plan is? I'm a little uncomfortable with the amount of evil that has been in the last couple of seasons. Keeps me interested, though! Happy Stamping!!

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
