Who’s Got a Button?

3-D Items

16 Oct

DSCN2764 copy

This is what I ended up doing with those two milk bottles I got while I was at my BFF Tracy's in PA.  They look cute eh with the big buttons in them? You know I almost didn't get the bottles, I carried them all around the store then I was like no I am not gonna get them. Then Tracy was like "you could put a candle in them" and I think she said I could store stuff in them too. So then I was like what the heck I'll take em, and I love them and wish I had more. Well I do have about 5 other milk bottles, they were my Poppa's but I have them in the kitchen on a shelf so I don't want to mess with them, they are just to look at.

So we had a big wind storm tonight, blew dust everywhere, I can smell the dust in the house even…ugh! I can't stand the smell of dust and dirt.  It is not as bad as the crazy weather we had here when I was in PA.  Did you know that while I was gone Flagstaff had 8 tornadoes?  That is 8 too many. Not that any State wants tornadoes but AZ is totally not set up for them, we don't have basements, and basically most of our houses are put together with chicken wire, styrofoam and stucco.

I have my Love Letter DSP and Chunky Frame class tomorrow, here is the card they are going to do. Does it look familiar? ha! It should, it is basically the same card I showed yesterday, just different DSP and I did the button differently.

Looks cool with the antique brad in it eh? Doesn't even look like the same button.  It's funny when I look at things after I take the picture, cause it is like your eyes will see something you didn't notice before, sometimes it's a crooked glue job, or you will miss a spot when you colored, and this one I think I wish I had of moved the button over a bit.

Well I better sign off for now and get back to setting up my room. Jeff had the day off so we played hookie and went to lunch at The Deli and they were so busy!

Have an awesome Saturday, and thanks for stopping in!

Hi Di, I know what you mean about looking over your project after you've completed it. Gee-so-petes girl, no one's gonna notice that button but you. We are our own worst critics 🙂 My nephews live in Arizona near where one of the tornados went over. We checked on them to make sure they were okay. They were, but he told me that he thought he left all the bad weather back in Michigan. Not so though, because our weather up here has been wonderful. Have a great and creative weekend. Look forward to your posts.

I wouldn't have noticed the button and I think it is just fine. The whole set up looks great. I am sure everone will do the appropriate oohs and ahhs. DH and I are going to downtown St. Louis to a casino today and spending two nights. Since I don't do a lot of gambling (read only $25 on the slots) I am going to bring a few stamps, inkpads and some paper to get ready for my first workshop. I am a crazy dedicated SU person aren't I? I hope you had a ball today at your workshop.

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
