Just For Men Santa

This 'n' That

20 Oct

DSCN2830 copy

Remember those commercials for the hair coloring for men?  Well Santa wanted to try out a new look for Mrs. Clause. What do you think? I think he looks very handsome and kinda lumber-jack-ish.  I should dedicate this card to my BFF Tracy's hubby Steve, cause he does logging (before he hurt his arm).

Today Toby got groomed and we did the puppy cut thing, his fu-manchu look was getting pretty long and I think he was sick of it getting in his mouth and eyes, so I looked up a few pictures on line and also my friend Martha Beck's sweet little dog and they did a combination of the two cuts.  He looks so adorable, and he still hates to get his picture taken, I really wish I knew why, cause he didn't when he was younger. So after a couple tries this is as good as we could get.

Cute eh? But look at that sad look, cause he is usually such a happy face, but not around the camera.

Stamp Set: Jolly Old Saint Nick, Home Grown, Smarty Pants

Paper: White Natural, Basic Black, Pawsitively Prints II DSP, Basic Black, Watercolor paper, So Saffron, Baja Breeze

Ink: Jetblack Stazon, Soft Suede, Sahara Sand, Poppy Parade, Pink Pirouette, Blushing Bride

Misc: Oval punch, Modern label punch, paper piercer, Vintage trinkets (those are the little button brads)

I did a bit of paper piecing and I also cut out Santa's eyebrows too and popped them up. I colored with an aqua painter and my ink pads. I am taping a watercolor tutorial so don't miss it.

If you want to place an order for any of the Stampin' Up! products shown on my blog, my on-line store is open 24-7.  Please check it out. Don't miss the great Christmas bundles and also the new My Digital Studio downloads.

Well this old girl is going to bed.

Have a wonderful Wednesday and thanks for stopping in!

Toby is cute even if he hates the camera. My family had a yorkie when we were growing up, Buffy, she was soooo sweet. Love the Lumber Jack Santa, awesome job! Deb

I love Toby's new hair cut. He looks so manly, kind of like the lumberjack Santa. The lumberjack Santa is just darling. I could see where you could send this to a guy. Have a great hump day.

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
