Don't you just love this image? It reminds me of an old fashioned Santa, and he is so much fun to color, he is the perfect size. I cased the card off the front of the Holiday Mini catalog, (see below) I just used different cardstock and DSP. It gives it a totally different feel.
For some reason I can't make the catalog picture bigger, I think I know what I am doing with the computer and then I find out, nope I don't. Ha!
I had the TV on today and this Halloween Snickers commercial came on. Have you seen it? It is so freakin' scary, this big tall ugly woman (it's kids dressed up) stops this woman and makes her put a bunch of Snickers in her cart, I think the people that made the movie "Saw" wrote it, what the heck is the Snickers company thinking of? Creepy! It does not make me want to buy Snickers that is for sure, it makes me want to buy new knickers cause it scares the crap out of me every time I see the commercial.
Stamp Set: Jolly Old Saint Nick
Paper: Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler, Watercolor paper, Deck the Halls DSP
Ink: Jetblack Stazon, Blushing Bride, Pink Pirouette, Poppy Parade, Cherry Cobbler, Baja Breeze, Sahara Sand
Misc: Deck the Halls Big Designer Buttons, Cherry Cobbler Seam binding, Perfect Polka dot embossing foler, Scallop border punch, linen thread.
Don't you love these Big Designer Buttons? They are so shiny and I love that some of them have four holes instead of just two. I don't know I think the four holes give the buttons more character.

Have an awesome Friday and thanks so much for stopping in!
Great job. Yep those buttons are the best and I love that stamp. It reminds me of the Santas that used to be in the window of Famous-Barr (now called Macy's) and Stix, Baer and Fuller (now called Dillard's) in downtown St. Louis in the early 60's when I was a kid. I know I am showing my age aren't I? Anyway I really like it.

Ha — I know the Snickers commercial you're talking about, and I agree, it is SO CREEPY! Now when it comes on, I hit the mute button and look away! I love Snickers, but that commercial is WEIRD!!
Oh, one more thing — the Burger King guy creeps me out, too!!
Such a cute card. I love that Santa stamp (and the snowman as well).
Love this one! Thanks for sharing it! 🙂
