Ok, well kinda, if you count Eric laying it…the egg. He was home from work today cause he had a dentist appointment to remove some stitches, and he was like "did you go outside yet?" and I was like "yeah" and he was like "are you going to go out again?" and I was like "why are you going to lock me out?" and he said "no". So I thought I would go out to check on the chickens cause I don't know what else it would be. So I went out and looked in the nesting boxes and I'll be darned if he didn't put an egg from the refrigerator out there. What a nut! So I went in the house with it yelling "Eric, we got an egg! We got an egg!" and he was laughing and I said "and guess what? They are magic chickens cause the eggs are as cold as the refrigerator!". Such a stinker!
Remember that little dove I showed you before?
Well it's gotten bigger, when I was outside with the chickens I looked up in the tree where the nest is, and the nest looked back. I sure hope its the same dove. I am just going to believe that it is.
It's kinda hard to see, but can you see his little eyes? The nest is like way up in the tree, I used my new Bad Girl camera to take this picture.
I have been working on my Founder's Circle cards still, I did take a break to run Eric to the Doc's and to get a bit of shopping done. I had to get some new luggage since I broke mine before Convention, thankfully while it was still sitting on my bed. I went to Ross cause it is much cheaper, and I just got it in black, so I don't care if it is two different brands. I got a couple pieces that will nestle inside each other, cause I have seen some of the stuff the girls get at Founder's Circle and I would rather be safer then sorry and be able to pack it to get it home. So I am going to pack the smaller one inside the bigger one to go there, and then I will have it to come home with. I just hope it does not weigh more then 50 pounds when I do that.
This is another card I showed at convention, I love this coffee set. The greetings are so fun!
Paper: Very Vanilla, Watercolor Paper, Marina Mist, Cherry Cobbler, Patterns Designer Series Paper Stack
Ink: Jetblack Stazon, Sahara Sand, Daffodil Delight, Marina Mist, Cherry Cobbler
Misc: White gel pen (to add dots to the bottom of the kettle), Word Window punch, Victoria Crochet Trim
Today when we were running around I had to go get dog food for Toby, and while we were at the petfood store I asked if they sold meal worms cause I heard the chickens love them. They did and I bought a little container of them. So when we got home I went out to the chickens and ugh…put the worms in my hand, and Alice ate one right away, she eats from my hand all the time. The others never have. But I was like if you want one you are going to have to take it. They finally did after Alice ate a bunch. I finally just dumped them on the ground and they sure ate them up fast. Another thing they love is cooked brown rice. So fun.
Well I am headed to bed, morning sure comes early don't it?
Have an awesome Friday and thanks for stopping in!

Love the color combo on the card. Reminds me of the 50's. For some reason it makes me think of Lucille Ball and aprons. Isn't it funny how certain designs trigger memories. What a fabulous hobby/business we share!
I love your son's sense of humor!!! Have a two hour delay before going into work today because of Hurricane Earl so thought I would drop you a line! I love the card and this stamp set. I also love how you pulled these 3 different papers together. What a talent. Have a great weekend.

I am trying to get some work done in the Stamp Tree House and would love to reproduce (OK read CASE) all the great things you showed us. Have a great weekend and hugs to you.
