Remember the Seinfeld episode with the Poppy seed muffins and then it seemed like Elaine was doing drugs because of the Poppyseeds so she had Jerry's Mum pee for her for her pee test and then it was like she was pre-menopausal? Ha! Was that the same episode that she wanted to sell muffin tops? Now when I hear the word muffin top, I look down and see it hanging over my pants. My BFF Tracy calls that dunlap disease. Our belly dunlapped over our jeans. Every time I color this set, I want a piece of bundt cake sooo bad.
I made up a few more cards using the Hostess set Birthday Bakery, I won't tell ya why yet. Bad aint I?
I cased and tweaked a card by Cindy B. Thanks Cindy, I love the long note sized card. I also love the new Extra large punch called Decorative Label that is in the Holiday Mini Catalog. I just masked off so I only got three of the cakes, and it fit perfectly.
I colored with ink pads and a blender pen. I love to color, did you know that? Ha! See that little button to the left, I got it off of Facebook, the little kid coloring like a mad man, "I Freakin' Love Coloring" that is me I love his face, he is like having so much fun, you just know he is coloring holes into his paper…it makes me smile every time I see it.
Paper: Baja Breeze, Poppy Parade Textured paper, Watercolor paper, Pawsitively Prints II DSP
Ink: Jetblack Stazon, So Saffron, Sahara Sand, Soft Suede, Poppy Parade, Baja Breeze
Misc: Chantilly Crochet Trim, Brights button, Scallop edge border punch, Decorative label punch, dimensionals
The finished card is 3 1/4 x 6 1/4
Today was fun, I talked to a bunch of people on the phone, Cindy came over and brought Daisy (she is from the same lady we got Toby from), and our niece Lauren and her boyfriend Josh came over, they moved here from Illinois, and it is fun to see them so excited. Starting their life out here, buying their first house, it reminds us of when we moved here all those many years ago. They all went to a mud-bog thingie tonight while I cut paper. I am looking forward to spending more time with Lauren (after she passes her boards – she is a nurse), and we will celebrate by going shopping for their new house. She has never been to Home Goods…oh my, that is one place I really want to introduce her to.
Well I am getting off here, I am cutting paper, I have a private Masculine card class the week after I get back from Founder's Circle, and a Stamp a Stack of Christmas card class the weekend after I get back too, so I need to get all this paper cut before I leave so I am not crazy busy when I get back…just crazy…ha!
Have an awesome Sunday, and thank you so much for stopping in!
Di!
What a Cute Card… How long and wide did you make this new card….???
I love the card and the button with the kid coloring is just great. It sounds like you are going to be (how about already are) one busy mama. You sure have to spend a lot of time cutting paper. Have you ever thought of outsourcing this? Maybe send it over to someone in another state or city or something? What do you use that cuts all that paper? I can't wait to read what you post about Founder's Circle. Be sure and read up on your new camera so you can use all the fun little features and give us fantastic pics. Have a great cutting Sunday.

VERY cute card Diana! Just got home from Fort Worth Regional. Had a great time. FYI reading your blog has encouraged me to hold my first Stamp a Stack. I am excited!
Diana Have a ball at Founder's Circle and share lots and lots of pictures….you can also share information too of course!
Love your card! Thanks for sharing.
Inky Hugs,
Terry~~
I love Bundt cake. Everytime I hear the word "Bundt" I think of "My Big Fat Greek Wedding!" As much as I love the "Bundt" cake, I will be making a Peach "Dump" cake today to go with my Enchilada Casserole. I really like this Birthday Bakery set and what you do with it. Have a great Sunday. It's raining here today.
Gorgeous coloring. I need to practice. Love your card and the colors!
LOve this card.
Looks good enough to eat xx
Di, your coloring is fabulous! Do you use ink pads and your aqua painter?
OMgosh…you crack me up!! I am a HUGE fan of Seinfeld!! And I clearly remember BOTH of those episodes…I'm pretty sure they're 2 different ones, but they are SO darn funny!!!! I love your card…and that new punch…LOOOOOVE IT!!!! I also absolutely adore this Birthday Bakery set, but I can't seem to get it! :o( People are struggling with work in our area, and my SU parties are just collapsing at my feet. I want that set SO darned bad!!! I love the cakes, but my favorite saying is…"if you are what you eat, eat something cute!" That sounds EXACTLY like something I'd say!! Hee, hee!! Have a BLAST at Founder's Circle and take LOTS of pictures!!
Hugs! Kimberly
You know how that little button makes you smile, well you do that to me. I always leave your site with a smile on my face. I imagine spending time with you is full of chuckles. Oh yeah, you do wonderful, creative work. TFS
Great idea! I love how you use only 3 cakes, I am going to try that : )
Thanks!
Oh and yeah, you ARE going to be super crazy busy after you come back from the Founder's Circle, don't forget the vedio you promised me : )
Cute card! You are so organized and I'm a terrible procrastinator. Have to read your blog every day and then some hoping that attribute will rub off on me….wishful thinking, I know. Have a most wonderful time at Founder's Circle. Can't wait to see what you bring home. Your California friend.
I love all your Birthday Bakery cards but they make me run out and buy cute things to eat and then I eat them and my muffin top is more like the whole cake! LOL
I too remember those Seinfeld episodes. I want to be Elaine in real life sometimes. I loved the way she wore bobby socks and loafers with her long dresses.
You always put a smile on my face! I cannot wait to hear about your adventures at Founder's Circle. Have a fabulous time!
