Day three! What? Already? Well according to the itinerary today is our half day regional that they have set up just for the Founder's Circle achievers so that is cool! They also have a shuttle going to an Outlet mall. Oh man, the sweat is beading on my forehead. Outlet mall. We also have dinner at our leisure, and guess what? Tonight is the Sock Hop Swap & Share, so that means I can show you my Founders Circle swap. I did tease you a bit about it before.
Now my card was based on this tutorial I did. You can see it here.
Once upon a time there was some cardstock, and embellishments.
They got all cut up and put in cute little piles. I used Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler and Shimmery White
Then the Shimmery White got stamped on, over and over and over and over again.
Then they got punched out over and over…well you get the picture, and it was important to keep the square that was punched out with the right piece so they lined up later.
Then those little squares were colored, and assembled to Cherry Cobbler cardstock.
While I was coloring, my sweet hubby was Big Shot-ting the Old Olive piece, I wanted to take his picture and he said no, so I didn't want to push my luck. So you can just close your eyes and picture it. He looked so cute!
Then all those pieces got glued together…oh yeah I had to stamp the bottom card base too. It just did not look right without it.
Then all these pieces were dimensionaled to the main card with the old olive piece and I tied the Cherry Cobbler seam binding ribbon on and attached a little vintage trinket and a jewelry tag, and after about 4 days, these babies were done, and packed up.
It took 5 one gallon ziplock bags to pack these babies. I hope everyone likes them. I only did 140 of them. Pardon me? Will this be my Christmas card? Heck no…if I ever see this card again it will be too soon…ha! Just kidding!!
Wanna see it in full?
I have to admit, it is so beautiful.

Wow how cute and a lot of work. Are your fingers still attached to your hands or did you work them off? Thanks for posting about Founder's Circle some of the time. I can't wait to see the pics you will be sharing next week.

Diana Gibbs,

Loved your tutorial on this card so much it was going to be a make and take at my next workshop. But, this one with the holly for a Christmas card – so totally going to make this one instead. At least I won't have to prepare 140 of them, just 15 or so. Thanks for sharing!
Absolutely beautiful – as is all your work, you are so very talented! Wondering whether you used both square punch sizes, for the popped holly, or was one of the squares cut with a paper cutter?
