For My BFF

This 'n' That

6 Sep

BFF close

Did you hear me singing and dancing today? You didn't? Hmmm…well I was! I got my Founder's Circle cards all done! Yeehaw! I celebrated by taking a nap! It sure felt good to go have a sleep with Toby in the middle of the day.

It was just a couple hours but I woke up refreshed.  I also wanted to color up a card for my BFF Tracy using The Nicest Things stamp set.  I did it while I was watching True Blood.  They are replaying the last three episodes before next week's season ending episode. I can not believe that this season is over already. It seemed like it just started.

It's funny cause if I have a movie on or something when I make a card or working on a swap or whatever, when I look at the card later, I can remember what it was I was watching.

BFF full
Stamp Set: The Nicest Things, the BFF is from an incentive set of stamps Demonstrators can order

Paper: Poppy Parade, Basic Black, Watercolor paper, Pawsitively Prints II DSP

Ink: Jetblack Stazon, Soft Suede, Pear Pizzazz, Pink Pirouette, So Saffron, Tempting Turquoise, Cajun Craze, Bashful Blue

Misc: Medium oval punch, Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack, Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border punch, paper piercer, mat pack, Pearls, blender pen and aqua painter, scallop punch for cloud stencil

DSCN2609 copy

TIP: I used the new medium oval punch and I wanted to have a ruffle edge around it, so I used the little rounded "t" kinda shape from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch pack and glued them on the back.

Punches
Well I better hit they hay, I got lots to do tomorrow, and I am itching to make some more cinnamon rolls, the guys are home from work so thought it would be nice to make the house all home cookin' smelly. My butt don't need them, but oh well, my friend Debra (hey girlfriend) she sent me an email to turn them into kind of a sticky buns and I want to try that…I hope I have corn syrup.

Have a nice Labor Day and thanks for stopping in!

To order the Stampin' Up! products shown here, my on-line store is open 24-7.

Stop talking about those Cinnamon buns Di!! I'm gonna have to go buy me a bread machine because my mouth is watering or better yet, drooling every time you mention them. Gosh they sound so so yummy. I love this card and do not have this stamp set. Your BFF is a lucky girl to get this card. You did an awesome job coloring it. I need some lessons from you! Have a great Labor Day.

Your card is darling. Great minds must think alike . . . . I used the exact same image last night to upload to my blog and SCS for today. I made the card for my Sis because she is my best friend. I'm waiting for next Sunday to make sure Russell is really dead on True Blood and to see if Sookie stays with Bill. And, Sam can you say personality reversal . . . etc. etc. Anyway, Di, I love your card!!

How did the sticky buns turn out? You are going to have to share the recipe for those. The card is just precious. Can you believe Leverage is over for the summer and all the rest of the great summer shows? I can't imagine how we got to September so quickly. It is closer to Christmas than I thought- only 7 more paychecks! Yikes!! I don't have any ideas yet. I also need to get started on the cards. Help us out girl.

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
