Being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator

1 Sep

DSCN2575 copy

Lookee, what I got today delivered by the best UPS man ever!

It's my Founder's Circle Travel Documents, and they came in this cute wallet that matches my Founder's Circle bag. So it's really really official now.  Thanks so much Stampin' Up!

DSCN2576 copy
Here's the inside.  See the fabric is the same as the bag…so cool.  I am really starting to wonder what we will be doing there.  I read my itinerary book and it will just seem weird me there without my comfort people, or whatever you want to call them.  When we go on cruise I have Jeff (and sometimes my BFF), when I go to Convention I have Tracy, and Rhonda and Marlene, but this I am going to and I don't have any of my comfort people. It's just me.

Whose gonna laugh at my jokes even if they are not funny just cause they love me? Whose gonna try the salsa first and then say "ohh that's too spicy for you!', "whose gonna wake me up in the morning when I don't hear my alarm cause even though I am deaf I still wear ear plugs at night cause I can hear the fans whirring in the hotel room and I can't sleep? Whose gonna make sure I don't get lost cause I have no sense of direction?  Gee Tiffany if you are reading this, you are probably saying "boy my calendar just filled up!"  Ha!

Anyway, I am so excited to be going, and I am sure I won't have anything to worry about.  Heck I have seen pictures from past years, and it looks like all they do is eat candy.  That aint spicy!

So I promised to show you pics from the last watercolor class the other day.

Here's Penny, Maureen and Ellie, they are letting that inner watercoloring pro out and loving it!

Here's Sharon and Debbie, look at those smiles it's not that hard to watercolor after all.

Here's my buddy Sharon and poor Mary is all blurry, sorry about that.

If you were ever a Girl Scout, you know the song about making new friends, you keep the old, one is silver and the other gold. You worry too much. You are world famous with your blog. You have lots of friends, just some you've never met! Turn up the volume on your hotel room's radio alarm. No Jeff to levitate out of the bed when it goes off! Been there, done that! LOL Have a great time!

I would love to sneak in your suitcase and comfort you but they won't allow it. Would love to just be a fly on the wall. Hope you enjoy your time there. I am sure you will not be a stranger and will have tons of friends. Looking forward to hearing about the trip when you get back.

Di, I'm sure that you will be just fine. Just relax and and enjoy it. I know easier said than done. 🙂 I would be worried about all kinds of stuff like that too.
I love to read your blog. You and Jan Tink both crack me out (as my 5 year great nephew would say). I am a hobby demo, also from the great state of your BFF.
I have had your blog saved in my favorites for a while but just the other day I started to read all the back posts. My 19 year old daughter kept saying "are you still looking at her blog". I told her that I had to catch up on quite a few years. So every time I came across a critter, I would call her to show her. HEHHEHE! Now, she wants to come to visit you!!! We both love animals.
Sorry for rambling on, but I wanted to let you know that I appreciate your blog very much.
PS Being that we are close to the same age, I totally understand the tooting comments!

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
