Saturday I have my first round of the new Distressing Essential Kit. This is a fun new item (#118762) that makes your stamping project look rugged and dirty…just like a lumberjack (that's a little nod to my BFF Tracy's buns of steel hubby Steve).
I saw this very cool card by Carrie Rhoades and I tweaked it a bit and this is what I came up with.
Stamp Set: Motorcycle – just so you know this stamp set is going to be gone at the end of August. I love this little stamp and I don't even have a bike.
Paper: Crumb Cake, Basic Black, Soft Suede
Ink: Jetblack Stazon
Misc: White watercolor pencil, blender pen, Distressing Essentials Kit, Square Lattice Embossing folder, Vintage brads
That is the card they are doing, then they are doing two other projects and I will show you the rest another day.
Oh I had one of my customers email me the other day, and she thought she was signing up for class, and she was actually at a different blog. If you are trying to find my blog you need to remember the "g" after the word stamping. It is www.stampingwithdi.com or you can type in www.dianagibbs.typepad.com . When I initially started my blog I did not have the "g" there, then when I went to buy the domain name it was already taken, so I used the "g" which is I guess the proper spelling. So that is kinda confusing, cause I know I think the official name with typepad has no "g" but once you have it set up you can not change it…ok nuff of that.
Well I won't blab much today, I gotta finish cleaning up for class, and hit the hay.
Have an amazing Saturday and thanks for stopping in!
Di,
I really want to be you when (if) I grow up. I love this card, and I love the detail it has. As always it is fantastic!!
I really really want to live closer to you so I could take all your classes.
