I might like to walk through the woods, I remember doing that as a kid and we would find these huge mushroom ball things. Now I'd be worried about ticks, snakes, bugs, spiders and all that creepy stuff.
This is one of the cards I demoed on stage at Convention, this showed the Watercolor Wonder crayons.
Stamp Set: Aviary, Fabulous Phrases
Paper: Garden Green, Early Espresso, Very Vanilla, Woodland Walk DSP
Ink: Jetblack Stazon, Riding Hood Red
Misc.: Rhinestone Jewels, Square Lattice embossing folder, word window punch
A few of you have asked about my new camera, and I do love it, but I know I will love it more when I use it more, I have not even tried the video yet. I have been so busy I have not had time to play. I will definitely let you know more when I feel I have the right to have an opinion about it.
I got together today with Rhonda and MAMMa and we got our make n takes figured out for our September to Remember event. Then I got my butt home and got back to cutting ribbon shares.
I have been listening to music while I cut, usually I just listen to the songs I have on my computer but I thought for a change I would listen to the radio, and I swear they play the same songs over and over. Do they get paid from the artist to play the song? If so, Kid Rock must be loaded cause every hour I swear they play his Sweet Home Alabama song.
The other day when I went out to check on the girls, Alice was trying to tunnel out…not really but she figured she needed a spa day (I looked it up on the internet to make sure she wasn't have a fit or something), so here she is…you can see Clara a bit too, she was at the ready in case 1) Alice did manage to escape 2) Alice needed CPR 3) Clara wanted the hole next, no one likes to share bath water, I'm sure it's the same for the bath dirt hole.
…I really think a pedicure is more necessary…look at those feet.
So now I know a bit more about camera stuff (thanks Mel). The video was using my old camera and I had zoomed into the digital zoom so you can see the pixely stuff in it.
Well this old bird…ha! that's me! Is gonna go clean up for the night and head to bed.
Have a great Wednesday and thanks for stopping in!
I <3 Alice and Clara! Well, ok, I <3 your blog, too!
Is Alice kind of purpley? She looked kind of purple in the video. I think she's gonna lay soon. You must get the movie Chicken Run and watch it now that you have a coop!
Lesson of the day: It's called "Dusting". They're dusting their feathers. Most birds that I know of will dust. It distributes the oils in their feathers so they don't get matted. Also used as a cleaning method. When they shake the dust from themselves, it removes other debris stuck in their feathers. I also believe that it prevents bugs from biting and they can't feel them crawling on them with the sand on.
Great card! Love all the layers!
I didn't know that about the dirt bath. Clara is waiting patiently. Love it!
Love the Spa vido! She was really into it, I wonder if she feels as rested as I do with I get out of the bath….
Have you gotten any Eggs yet or did I mess that post?
OMG! Alice is too cute!!! She reminds me of my cat when he starts rolling around trying to be cute and wants rubs! So cute! Seeing that video makes me want chickens! I always 'think' that they're dirty, but yours seem so clean and 'cuddly'!!!
beautiful card!!!! love all the layers!!!
Love this card……you're da bomb baby
Hugs for yoU!
This card is soo pretty – you are superb at watercoloring & I can't wait to do the class with you so I can learn…I loved the place of honor you gave your Edward cup; will have to take a pic of you showing it off like the ladies in the tv game shows lol. And this flix of Clara – too funny; and even funnier that you stood outside in the hot sun for 2 and 1/2 minutes taking the video ha ha ha. Mary L
