What Inspires Me

This 'n' That

2 Aug

DSCN2013 copy

Well number one is other Stampin' Up! Demonstrators.  I get inspired by looking at their blogs, and also checking out the Stampin' Connection, the awesome Stampin' Up! forum we have to get card and business ideas as well as a place to meet new friends.  We also get a Stampin' Success magazine every month filled with great ideas.

But I can also be inspired by shopping.  Yeah shopping!! Let's go.  Well this card was inspired by a Kleenex box of all things, not super exciting eh?   Achooo! Bless You!!

Here's the Kleenex box that traveled with me to SLC and was on stage 6 times before it got tossed away.  The colors were Wild Wasabi, Blushing Bride, Pink Pirouette & Cajun Craze.

So putting this card together was easy. I mean my colors were already figured out for me.

Stamp Set: Because I Care

Paper: Very Vanilla, Cajun Craze, Blushing Bride, Wild Wasabi, Watercolor paper

Ink: Jetblack Stazon, Pink Pirouette, Cajun Craze, Blushing Bride, River Rock, Wild Wasabi

Misc: Jewels – Pearls, square punch to get fish tails on greeting bar, Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder

So I liked this combo so much that I wanted to remember it, cause I'm not keeping that kleenex box forever. I punched the cardstock color out with my circle punch and glued them on the card supplied with the color coach.  You can see a few others I like too.  I love the Color Coach, make sure to ask me how you can get one for FREE.

To place an order you can shop 24-7 in my on-line store.

Have a great Monday, and thanks for stopping in!

Oh My Land!!! You didn't lug that tissue box BACK home with you did you?? Cause I'm shocked to see a picture of it. UNLESS you are so smart you took a picture of it before you left for convention!!??

I remember once being inspired by the walls in Olive Garden when we had that Architect set. Funny where we are inspired!! But remember seeing that Lion Head in the walls at Olive Garden this year at Convention!!! Huhmm had we had a set with a lion!!????

I learned so much from you when you were up on stage. I didn't know the circles on our Color Coach were to make combos of our own that we liked. Yes, I know it is probably on the Color Coach but I don't always read the directions. I really like that Kleenex and liked the inspiration you gave us. Thanks again. How are the girls doing? How is Toby adjusting to having sistahs?

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
