Triple D

3-D Items

5 Aug

Gee that could mean a lot of things couldn't it?  Bra size, maybe a movie rating, how about that white haired spikey dude that cooks?

When we were at convention, our last night there my BFF Tracy and I went with Barbara Lash and a bunch of her friends in a van driven by Bubba to the canyon (thought I was gonna say down by the river didn't you?) and we ate at a restaurant called Ruth's Diner. It was on Diners Dives and Drive-Ins. It was amazing, the food was excellent, I loved the chocolate pudding which is like a number 1 thing or something. Our waiter was a cutie patootie, the company we ate with was so much fun, we are hoping they let us go with them again next year.

Triple D also could stand for 3-D and I wanted to show you a couple cute things that I got at convention these hold chocolate…yum! I didn't even swap anything for them except a hug.

This cute little pouch was made by Jolene Slack, one of my fellow Artisan Award winners from last year. She thought I could use some chocolate to get me through my Demonstrations. Thanks Jolene!

This cute little triangly box was made by Jennifer Picard and it is made with two of the Two Tags die, and look what is inside…

…real honest to goodness Smarties from Canada.  Not those sweet tarts that are called Smarties in the US. Thanks Jenn! What is fun is both these gals are Canadian just like me…gotta love em.

So ya wanna check out the healing of the elbow?

DSCN2480 copy
It's looking a bit better, it's still a little tender, I certainly don't lean on it, but I just can't believe that this is what it is doing.  I do kinda remember at convention hitting my elbow on the handicap bar in the shower, and I wonder if I weakened a vein and when I got home I moved just right and broke it, I don't know, it is still weird I think.

Oh and today was so fun I had my workshop with the Trilogy ladies, and then I went to lunch with Ellie and Maureen.

When I got home I cleaned out the chicken coop nesting box things, and put in fresh bedding. Then I actually held a couple of the girls I want them to not be scared, and I think since I don't act scared it helps.  We had chickens years and years ago and they would bite me all the time and they scared me.  These girls don't and if they do it is a little nip like a warning, but today I basically was like I am gonna pick you up get over it.

Clara and I
This is Clara, does she not look like she is having so much fun being held? She was making this purring or cooing noise, I hope that is good and was not some sort of time bomb for the crapper…

Stella & Clara
…cause they sure can crap…or Jeff says "you can't have chickens without chicken shit!" Gee maybe I should cross stitch that, frame it and hang it on the coop…can you just imagine?

Well this old girl is headed for bed, I need to design some fun things for our September Fall Fest.  Don't miss it.  The date is September 18.

Have a great Thursday and thanks so much for stopping in!

Your elbow looks worse but that is the way with bruises. They look pretty bad as they are getting better. Are you sure Gertie and you didn't go a round or two? Actually your fine feathered friends are darling. That is a really cute shirt you are wearing. I can't imagine picking up a chicken and having them poop on it. You are a brave soul. Have a great Thursday.

Ha – you are too funny. Love watching Diners, Dives, and Drive-ins. Guy was here in Providence RI at a wiener joint – ever have a "hot wiener"??- now there's a loaded question that I'm sure you could have much fun with Di!! If ever in RI I'll take you for one – they are delicious! (P.S. I have lots of cross-stitch material – can get started on that sign for you!) Karen

OMG!!! SMARTIES! I LOVE them. I have each day my dose of SMARTIES, and yes we argue with my coworker which Smarties are real, the American ones or "ours". I pick up few packs each Sunday from Whole Foods. Oh yeah, as well, we have the same "argument" with my hubby about Smarties.

I absolutelly love the candy (favor) boxes!!!

You and your girls are so cute! Oh, umm I meant the chickens… I can't believe what happened to your elbow! That is crazy, glad it is getting better. Can't wait to hear about the eggs you collect. I'm pretty sure the cooing is suppose to be a good thing, but I'm not sure I'm not a chicken girl.

Are you sure you didn't meet up with Edward and he ran through the woods with you in his arms and accidently whacked you against a tree limb or something? The chicks are beautiful and I am sure they love all the attention they are getting. Hey did you ever get the catsup potato chips from Jenn? Something I never heard of but she assured me they do exist!!!

LOL! Seriously, you are SO funny!! My first card class is on Saturday. It's not an official Stampin' up one, but it's a start right? I'm really excited about it!
Your elbow looks horribly painful if you go by the bruises! Wow!

You GOTTA do something with that slogan. I think T shirts would be great… you could make a small fortune with them at farm stores.

And, I still can't get over that beautiful hen house. You should also have a sign in front with something on like "HILTON HEN HOTEL"…

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
