Driving in the Countryside in my Pick-Up

This 'n' That

27 Aug

DSCN2544 copy

As soon as I saw this set in the catalog I knew I was getting it no questions asked. You know how there are some sets you want but can wait on, well this one I could not wait to get in my hands. I love the stamp sets that look real.

I have been asked for quite a while if I would teach a watercoloring class, and I thought this set with its awesome images would be the perfect one to teach it with. I usually have some sort of watercoloring something at each class, but everyone wanted a class just for watercoloring.  So I said sure, not a problem.  A few people could not make it, or did not get signed up in time, and if enough are interested I will repeat the class in the future.

The class will make 3 projects learning how to watercolor using the watercolor wonder crayons, ink pads and refill, as well as the watercolor pencils. They will use an aqua painter as well as a blender pen.  I'll show you the other two projects another day.

Gorgeous card! It does look so realistic, I love this old pickup truck. Everything about the card has such a "country" feeling.

I have been in CA for the last week so I haven't been able to look at all your wonderful creations. I am now sitting down to a delicious roam for the last week of posts. I missed all my great blogs while I was away but somehow waking up and looking at the ocean every morning made up for it. Still, I am glad to be home. This image is so you. You have done a spectacular job with it. I can't wait to see what else you have done while I was away.

    DI,

I am soooooo hoping that you will offer this class again, or one very similar all about watercoloring! I would love to be able to learn from the best!!!

This card is amazing! I love all the little details on the truck that you added in.

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
