While I work on my Convention Demonstration samples, as well as cutting paper for our Evening to Remember event, and a class I have before convention…oh yeah and swaps. I am going to post some of my favorite cards from the past year or so for a while. That way you will still have something pretty to look at each day.
Hopefully some will jog your memory, or if you are a new reader, it might be something you have not seen before.
This is a card I did for display stamping a year or so ago, how bad it all just blends in and I can't remember the year. Is that old age? or do I need to purge my brain out? This was originally posted in January 2009.
Stamp Set: Friends 24-7
Ink: Jetblack Stazon, Kiwi Kiss, Tangerine Tango, Going Gray
Paper: Whisper White, Hawaii Papya, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White
Misc: White Chocolate grosgrain, filigree designer brads, vanilla hodge podge brads, paper piercer, white gel pen
Please note that some of this stuff is retired and not available anymore, just use different paper, and stuff.
Well I am going back to work.
Have a great 4th of July! Thanks to all our men and women, including our two nephews Billy & Bobby in the Armed Forces for all they do for us at home. And for those family members left at home while your loved ones are gone, God Bless You All.
Very pretty card. Love that it looks modern and aged at the same time.
I am a late comer to your blog (or at least just a year or so). I used to be bad about not posting comments but I am so trying to get better. I really appreciate it when a blogger takes the time to respond to me personally. It makes me feel like I am special. Thanks for all your fun you bring us. Roscoe asked if I would get a pair of "the shoes" so he can play with them. He doesn't normally play with my shoes since I put them away but he might make an exception with these.
