I have this little flat teddy bear, he is a Boyds Bear, and he is so cute, I used to sleep with him all the time and he went with me everywhere (shhh…I am talking as an adult…shhhh). I have always had a weakness for teddy bears, but they have to have the right personality.
So I got all the DSP cut that I have here, and will be ready to cut the Newsprint when it gets here, then off they go. I still need to finish up my demo cards, as well as cut the cards for my class this coming weekend.
But I was twitching for a fix. I needed to stamp and color, and it had to be quick. So after I got all my stamp sets put together, I love that we don't have to cut them out anymore, or my hands would be in pain, I had like 20 or so. Some were my Sale-a-Bration freebies, and some were from my first order. While I was putting them together, I definitely wanted to use this little teddy, and the greeting just screamed to be used for him.
What do you think? Don't you love quick little cards? Nothing fancy, easy to mail. This card is 3 1/2 x 3 1/2
Stamp Set: Occasional Quotes, Baby Bundle
Paper: Whisper White
Ink: Jetblack Stazon
Misc: Blender Pen, Watercolor Wonder Crayons
Well I'm fighting a head ache, I think its cause of this stupid weather, is it gonna rain or not? Ugh! So I wanna get off here to keep it controllable.
Oh and rules from Mr. Gibbs (ha) "you better post the _________________ on your blog" so tomorrow I will post what he made me. It is so cute!
Have an awesome Monday and thanks for stopping in!
The teddy is cute – but I am anxiously waiting the "blankety blank!"
Luv ya
Jax
Di, this is so cute! I love flat cards and this one is perfect.
Can't wait to see what your DH made you.
I love Boyd's too – I have a collection – when I first started (yes as an adult), my brother picked my name for Christmas and asked what I wanted. I told him a Boyd's bear – he said "seriously" and then asked if I wanted a coloring book and crayons to go with it! Karen
I just realized I haven't looked at your blog since last Thursday. I am so sorry, have you missed me as much as I missed you? I am up to my *ss in alligators trying to get shoe box swaps done for our preconvention things. It took me the longest time to finally decide what to do and I am now cutting everything. I am such a perfectionist and I want to knock people's socks off when they see my projects. Speaking of which I love what I see on your blog the last few days that I missed. I will try to be better about getting over here. BTW if you are too hot come on over here to MO. It is only low 90's but with 80% humidity. You know what they say, "It isn't the heat, it's the humidity". From living in the low desert in CA I can tell you it's the heat too.
Hugs and chocolate kisses,
