Remember watching the Li'l Rascals growing up and Alfalfa loved Darla so much? I'm in the mood for loove!!! He would sing to her with that hair sticking straight up, and she would bat her little old eyes at him.
That was a fun show, and then the one where Spanky was bug huntin' and he was hitting the cockroaches with a hammer…ha! Not that cockroaches are fun in in your house, but the episode was cute. I couldn't find that one, but at least you get to listen to Alfalfa sing…
This is one of the cards I showed in my Demonstration. I used some watercolor crayons and some ink pads. I love this set, and I can not get enough of this DSP…It is gorgeous. Speaking of which I just have a few DSP shares left, so holler if you want one.
Paper: Basic Black, Riding Hood Red, Watercolor Paper, Love Letter DSP
Ink: Jetblack Stazon
Misc: Chantilly Crochet Trim, Pearl, Circles Die, Scallop Circle Die, Perfect Polka Dot Embossing folder, watercolor wonder crayons, blender pen
So today this is what my elbow looks like…
…all the blood under the skin has kinda just worked itself around my elbow and my elbow has some red marks on it I think from the swelling. Where the heck is that blood going to go? Jeepers Creepers…blech!
So tonight Cindy came to pick up her DSP share and look who she brought along to say hi…
…this is Daisy, is she not the cutest thing? I remember when Toby was little like this. Cindy got her from the same lady we got Toby, but Daisy has different parents. You can already see the silver coming into her hair. She is so spoiled, she goes everywhere with Cindy, the movies, shopping etc. She even has a travel bag thing and Cindy says lets go bye bye and she gets in it…super adorable. Sorry the color is horrible, this is why I am saving up my pennies and I am going to get a new camera before Founders Circle, this one I have is so frustrating, I want to pitch it across the room.
If you are itching to get some of the new stuff out of the Idea Book and Catalog, this is a great time to be a Hostess, you get extra Hostess Benefits!!! What? Really?
Yep!!! You will receive an additional $25.00 in Hostess free merchandise dollars when your workshop totals $350.00 or more.
This offer is good from July 27 through August 31. Online orders do not qualify so give me a holler if you are interested.
Have an awesome Saturday and thanks for stopping in!
Love this set. I just got it and can't wait to play with it. The boy and girl remind me of the old Dick and Jane books. But I love Alfalfa too! We would make a great duet because I sing about as good as he does!!! Do you have to go back to the docs for a recheck? Love Daisy but of course you know that I love dogs. I have lost two of our four dogs this year. They were old labs. So when I saw Daisy I started to drool but hubby says no more for now. Oh well. I will just have to buy more stamps!!!! Have a great Saturday. I'm off to a Stampin Up yard sale!
Glad your 'bursa' is getting back to normal…..
Love me some Alfalfa…… Darla should have swooned more over him….LOL
So glad your elbow is looking better!
Next time I'm over, remind me to show a simple trick in Photoshop to help get those colors back on track! It's easy I promise!!!
Love ya,
mel
No I actually love your shoes more!!!! HEHEJJ
Sorry I missed ya at convention, actually to afraid to approach was so afraid you'd think me a stalker and I so wanted you to see mine (shoes), I think I'll just put them up on FB. The shoes looked fabulous on stage and your walking in them was…very regal!
Congrats stage without a pole walker!HE
I love, love, love that stamp set. But I don't care much for coloring. Probably because I am not very good at it. The elbow looks like it hurts a bit. Heat will help that blood be reabsorbed but do what your doc says to do not what some silly person on your blog. I hope you are having a great weekend.

Hey Di,
Hope your elbow gets better! I just wanted to say how much I love your blog! I read it as much for your humor as I do for the beautiful cards you make. You always brighten my day with a laugh! I loved the little rascals as a kid and they are still a hoot! Many blessings , Mary
Love this card…it reminds me of the Campbell Soup kids and was one of the first sets I bought.
Your elbow is looking better which is a very good thing.
And lastly, ty for the Our Gang video. It's been ages since I've seen them and what fun it was to watch again
Love your cards, Diana! I got such a kick out of watching Alfalfa singing…haven't seen that one in ages! Here's a link to the one you were talking about with Spanky & the cockroaches…it's kind of a montage of photos & clips not just that one. Funny!!Enjoy! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_uCuL62KUz4&feature=player_embedded#at=363
