Pink Pirouette

This 'n' That

11 Jun

I started the Short Second Life of Bree Tanner last night, and I finished it today I wished I had of timed myself, I would have got it done even sooner but I had errands to run.  It was so good, and now when I see the movie I will have another perspective of the character, and I also wish that Stephenie had of handled the character differently now that I read this book. Let me know what you think if you read the book, it makes me want to tear up thinking about it.  I went back to Eclipse and found the spot where she was in and re-read it.  In fact I am going to re-re-read Eclipse, I will start tonight, and I should have it done by the time we go to the movie on the 30th. 19 days and counting…

As I was reading, my vampire pal Melissa who we were vampire fans before being a vampire fan was cool, anyway, she was listening to the Eclipse CD and I was like OMG! how did I forget that, I could have sworn it was not coming out till the 22nd. So I had to go to UPS, and the bank anyway, (after I waited for the pest control company that was supposed to come between 8am and 12:00 – they never even showed up or called)  so I zipped over to Target, and they didn't have any more of the special one with the extra songs, so I went to Walmart and they don't even carry a special one…ok whatever, I got the regular one, and listened to not all of it yet.  I will let you know what I think.

My sister sent me this video and I laughed so hard, and went OMG! at one point and let me know if you did too.  She is so funny, make sure to check out the other videos if you click over to YouTube to watch it.  The rafting one is funny.

So here is another card from the shoebox swap the other night.  This one is so cute in pinks and black.  I am so glad that Pink Pirouette is coming back, I love that color.

This card was designed by Sheri Stansbarger or S2 for short.

OK, so like I said I am going to read Eclipse again (this will be the third time) so I am hitting the sheets.

Have a great Friday, and thanks for stopping in!

Jeanne Robertson is hysterical! She was actually a speaker at an SU convention (Orlando I think)and I just loved her. I wish that SU would have her back.

I'm glad you liked the video! It was nice to hear some comedy without all the F bombs being dropped!
Pink Piroutte is one of my favourite colours.
I have an order that should be here on Wednesday – but it does not look like they put my catalog in with it…not sure what is up with that…I wanna see some new stuff!
    Luv ya

Oh Holy Moly! She got to the part about numbering the list, and I had to pause the video because I was laughing so hard I couldn't hear what she was saying! Hilarious! I'm no prude, but I LOVE clean comedy! Jim Gaffigan is really funny, too, and he doesn't get nasty, either. Thanks for sharing, Di — have a good weekend!

ok, haven't watched that video yet, just wanted to say that I was glad to read your comments about Bree Tanner, I didn't hear much glowing praise for The Host so hoped this was better. Will be keen to check it out now (after I finish Wrinkle Of Time and finally track down a copy of Dead In The Family with the cover I want…). Happy True Blood day, LOL!
