Of the Earth

This 'n' That

29 Jun

DSCN1958 copy

Today was my last round of Technique Lover's Class. Now to finalize my script for my convention demo and get that marked off my to-do list.

I wanted to show you another card from MAMMa's class.  We are having a bit of a storm, I have had to re-boot my computer a couple times so I want to be quick.

DSCN1957 copy
Stamp Set: Of the Earth, Short & Sweet

Paper: Crumb Cake, Basic Black, Very Vanilla

Ink:Whisper White Craft, Basic Black

Misc: Vanilla Satin, watercolor pencils, word window punch, Lace border punch, white gel pen

This is a technique called White Magic, oops its called Black Magic, sorry about that.  You stamp the image with Whisper White craft, and heat set.  Then take your watercolor pencil and color over top, here we did just the stems. Very easy.  Afterwards we just added white gel pen dots to the top of the flowers, and I think it looks like either white Christmas lights, or a whole bunch of lightning bugs. Very cool.

OK, so like I said I better keep it short, will chat with you more tomorrow.

Have an awesome Tuesday and thanks for stopping in!

Signature orange long

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
