Lovin’ the Poppy

Being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator

17 Jun

Because I Care Close

I love all the new colors, but I think that a few will be my go to colors, although like anything new I want to use it all. and I don't want to use the "old stuff" – ha!  The new "In Color" Poppy (my finger wants to spell Poppa – sigh) Parade.  It goes nice with Tangerine Tango, and it is a nice happy red.

I got most of my display stamping done today, I just have a few more things to do and then I can get it in the mail.

I am loving this new stamp set "Because I Care" It is a Level One Hostess set from the new catalog.  Did you know that you can get it for free now?  Yep, if you sign up to be a Demonstrator before the end of June, not only is the kit only $99.00, plus if you join my family, you will have a $40.00 gift certificate to spend out of the new catalog in July, but when you order the new Color Kit you will get this set for free.  Amazing, I know.  Let me know if you have any questions, I would love to have you join my team, I have Demonstrators all over the United States, and we have a fun group.  To sign up online you will need to go to my website, and use the password TOBY. Please remember this offer ends June 30.

Because I Care Front
Stamp Set: Because I Care, Tiny Tags, Flores Suaves (this set is in the Spanish Catalog)

Paper: Cherry Cobbler, Basic Black, Watercolor Paper, Newsprint DSP

Ink: Jetblack Stazon, Baja Breeze, Pear Pizzazz, Garden Green, Tangerine Tango, Poppy Parade, Cherry Cobbler, Daffodil Delight, More Mustard

Misc: 1/8" Basic Black Taffeta, Mini Vintage Tags, Gold Glow Smooch Spritz

Because I Care Side
Not sure if this one shows the Smooch Spritz better.  I never know whether to take a picture of the card on the angle or front on.  So there ya go…you got both ways.  To age the DSP, I first rubbed it with the Daffodil Delight pad and then I added More Mustard to the edges.

Don't forget to pre-order your 2010-2011 catalog now, they will be shipping any day now.  Here is the link so you can use paypal if you want it mailed to you, or if you want to pick it up, let me know.

Have a great Thursday and thanks so much for stopping in!

Oh this is great. I love what you have done with all of it. I haven't inked up any of my new goodies yet. I have too much to do to get involved with the new stuff. But look out, next week I will be going crazy with those things. Thanks for sharing your fun with us.

    Di,

As usual your work is just stunning! I love your water-coloring, and when (if)I grow up I wanna be just like you.

If you are planning your classes I would love a water coloring one nearish to Christmas so I can actually attend.

Diana, I love this card. I'm going to CASE it for my July Stamp-a-Stack. I've been following your blog faithfully for months and I absolutely LOVE IT. You are my bright spot to my day. I was also an AI fan and enjoyed your comments each week. I'm also a Twilight freak and already have my tickets for Eclipse and can't wait!! Thanks for your wonderful "earthy" blog — I feel like I know you. Keep it up — you are a very talented stamper and I'm always inspired by what you create.

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
