I know I said I was going to show a few days of shoebox cards (I'll get back to them tomorrow), but I wanted to share one of the cards the girls will be doing at my Technique Lover's Class this month.
This is a fun spinner card. The quad spins over top of the dirt and reveals the greeting farty hearty…ha! Just kidding, it says party hearty. But depending on how much "gas" you give the quad, there may be some farty-ness.
The girls are doing three techniques in total, Side Step, Smooch Spritz, and the Spinner card. This will be the last Technique Lovers Class I do for a while, as I am planning some new styles of classes coming up, that I am hoping everyone will enjoy.
Stamp Set: Itty Bitty Backgrounds (I always said if Stampin' Up! ever retired that set, I would quit – ha! jokes on them, it's retiring, but I'm not going anywhere, they are stuck with me..ha!), Party Hearty, Loads of Fun
Ink: Jetblack Stazon, Chocolate Chip, Bashful Blue, Whisper White
Paper: Vanilla Naturals, Chocolate Chip, Bashful Blue, Watercolor Paper
Misc: Word Window punch, sponges, scallop punch for clouds stencil, dimensionals, watercolor pencils, blender pen
How fun eh?
Well I am hoping to finish my book so I can start my new Bree Tanner book, it is a short story that just came out by Stephenie Meyer so I am actually going to get to be in bed before 9pm tonight, OMG! It has been a long time since that has happened.
Don't forget your free stamp sets of the week ends June 10.
Have a great Wednesday and thanks for stopping in!
OOO that's too cute. I haven't done a spinner card in ages!
I was shocked to see Itty Bitty Backgrounds on the retired list too.
There were some others that I was not impressed with….but that one really shocked me!
Luv ya

Sorry I have missed a day or two commenting. Life has been busy with all my swaps and projects that are due. I just started last night on a swap that is due next Saturday along with my making a committment to be in three other swaps. I will also be teaching a class in procrastination soon (or maybe later). Anyway, I wish I could come down for a class from you, these techniques all look like such fun. Also the post from yesterday looks like you girls had a hoot of a time. I have to make 3 shoebox swaps for convention next month so I need to start thinking of things to do. I don't want to make it too difficult since we only have 20 minutes to complete it. Do you have any ideas? I love, love, love the ice cream cone card. Maybe it is because I am an ice cream addict. Roscoe says hi. I wonder why I seem to gravitate towards blogs that the owners have dogs– Roscoe make me do it you know.

That is soooooo cute and creative!!! Wow.
Very cute card! Wish I were there to take the class. I also agree about the Itty Bitty Backgrouds being retired…sad.
