It Was Like Magical…

This 'n' That

6 Jun

…or not.

So this morning I peed and got in my birthday suit and stepped on the scale, I wanted an accurate reading to start The Shupe Diet.  It said 133.5. Huh?  How could I lose 5 pounds over night?  I mean I know I was fully dressed and I did have all my jewelry on but that was maybe two pounds at the most, so I tried it again. 132, what the ?.  The next time 129.  Wow this is the fastest diet ever…ha!

So obviously I bought a dud scale. So I got a shower, and dressed and back to the store I went, and all they had was the same brand name just different models and I was like thanks but no thanks.  Then I went to the drug store, nope none there.

So I ended up going to our grocery store and there I found one, and I came home, did the same routine.  Now mind you, I did not eat or drink at all yet cause I wanted it ACCURATE.  So I stepped on it and it said 133.0  I had Eric stand on it to see what his was, and it was the same as what the Doc office said he was last week.

So I did not dance today, by the time I did all the running around there was no time, so it starts tomorrow (or today since I am typing at night).

I also did not get anything stamped today I spent all day pulling out and pricing all my retired everything. Stamps, inks, refills, cardstocks, buttons, brads, ribbons, light table, etc. etc.  I have filled a whole banquet table of boxes of goodies.  I will be having a "yard sale" on Saturday June 12 at 10:00 am – 1:00 pm  (no early birds please)  Nothing can leave here till July 1 but you can still "shop", put down half as deposit to hold the items.  They get bagged up and put aside for you, and July 1 you come back pay the balance and take your goodies home. If you use the recycling bags at the grocery store, you could bring a couple and we can label them with your name to keep your items in…just an idea.  Please note I only accept cash or checks for the sale items, I can not take a credit or debit card…thanks! Let me know if you plan to stop by on Saturday, so I have an idea how many people to expect.

Jeff and I did manage to watch Alice and Wonderland tonight, it was cute, I didn't watch any of the special features, as I am sure there are some.  I almost fell asleep right at the end, so it is beddie bye for me.

Have a blessed Sunday and thanks for stopping in.

Let me know if those scales work for you. I even bought the Weight Watcher's digital scale and everytime I stand on them I would get a different reading. Frustrating. Di how do you price your retired stuff? Paper, ribbon, stamp sets, etc. i'm getting ready to do that today. Thanks.

You poor "little " girl!!I havent' weighed that little since I was in the AF!! I've been eating less and losing some, but not that fast!! Good luck.. hope you make it to 120 by convention!

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
