For You

This 'n' That

27 Jun

DSCN1955 copy

So Mandy is laughing at me cause I told you where my ear ring was and I was like no I didn't.  I said it rhymes with….ha!

So this morning I weighed 128.8.  Cool that is going in the right direction.  Jeff smoked some ribs today, and I only ate a few plus, I have been really smart about what I put in my mouth lately.  I really do hate the scale though as my little sister Courtney (hey honey, say hi to J) says.  I think I will still weigh once a week, but I also have an old pair of jeans I will try on every week too just to see, cause I don't want to be measuring myself and stuff, that sounds too much like math.  I say, if I can pull the jeans up over my arse that is a great first step, getting them done up comes next…baby steps right?

I also want to give a "Big Shout Out", "High Five", and a  "You Go Girl" to one of my blog readers, Lee Patrick. Sending you a big hug!  Mandy has it for you.

This is one of the cards we did at MAMMa's the other night.  MAMMa said to make sure to say that she gets inspired all over the web, but does not remember where she sees cards, so if you see a card that looks like yours, I say thank you and MAMMa says thank you. I know I am the same way, I try to remember but it is hard so my suggestion to everyone is, if you post a card on the web anywhere, make sure you have a watermark on it that has your name, then it is easy to know where the card idea came from.

Ink: Jetblack Stazon, Melon Mambo, Old Olive, Sahara Sand

Misc: Lace border punch, wide black striped ribbon

So I finished the book Dear John today and I don't know, but I did not like it.  I guess there was not enough action or something, so I think I am gonna go back to my stack and pick something else.  I had borrowed the book from Rhonda, so I am glad I did and that I did not buy it.

That being said, I am headed to beddie bye.  I took my advil for my tooth ache that comes and goes and am gonna get a good nights sleep, I am a busy girl tomorrow.

Have a blessed Sunday and thanks for stopping in.

This card is very pretty – I still do not do too much with that big ribbon – how the heck do you mail it?
Did you watch the movie Dear John? I have not read the book but I enjoyed the movie.
Channing Tatum (the guy in the movie) is so cute and he's a pretty good actor. Watch the movie, maybe you will like it more than the book – and who knows if it's like alot of other movies it's probably nothing like the book anyway!

I cannot believe you disliked the book. I caught the movie after class one night; loved it. However, it left me hanging to know what happens in the end. I want to be told, not use my imagination. I didn't pay $10+ to come up with my own ending here. I realized I had the book (bought it at the annual BIG book sale in Feb -we should go) and read it that day. I liked it, but the book and movie endings are diff. I didn't care for either.
This is Rhonda's book? I'm surprised or is this a diff. Rhonda you speak of?

Eek, TWO DAYS!!! Ah, well for you, 2.5!

    An now a little Eclipse…
Edward: Isabella Swan, I promise to love you forever – every single day of forever. Will you marry me?
    Bella: Yes.

Edward: Sleep, my Bella. Dream happy dreams. You are the only one who has ever touched my heart. It will always be yours. Sleep, my only love.

Bella: Slumber parties do have their advantages… You can hold me hostage any time you want.

OK, reading this post a few days later. That's ok at least I am reading them. I love that card and especially love that ribbon. I can't wait to get more of it from the new catty. A few years ago (2008? or was it last year?) we had the Real Red in a Christmas Occassions catty. It looks wonderful on a package done up for Christmas. I have been hoarding it like crazy and demanding people give it back to me after they open their present. Now I can be a little more generous with it. Notice I said a little. Have a great day. I'll be reading the next days in a half a second.

Very pretty card!! I have a question for you. Do you, or know of anyone, who has some of the Groom DSP left? The black with either shiny stripes or shiny swirls. My daughter is newly engaged and just saw that dsp in the catalog and wants it for her invitations that I'll apparently be making, and it has sold out! :(. I am searching everywhere for some, even partial packages will be fine. I'm hoping to scrounge up enough to do something with it. Just askin…

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
