Lynda Gordon shoebox

Tonight Rhonda, my sweet girlfriend and upline had her downline meeting and we did a shoebox swap and we met at Keegan's restaurant and ate first…I had creme brulee, looks like I'll be boogy-ing a little longer tomorrow.

So there were 6 of us there and we all designed a card and brought it and then we made each others.  So this makes my blogging really easy for the next few days.  I just have to finish up a couple cards, but other then that, I got new cards to show…yeah!  So fun, cause I have to get finishing up my TLC class cards and get those posted for class sign ups.  I am also doing display stamping for Convention, and I was asked to present on stage this year, so I have stuff to do for that too.  Not all in one day mind you, but still I need to get crackin', so it will be nice to have a few cards done to post for you each day.

The first one I grabbed off my pile was one that Lynda Gordon designed.  I tried to be fancy and roll the ice cream, and well I just managed to make the old olive ice cream look like I didn't ink it enough…oh well I love the card anyway.

Stamp Set: Sweet Scoops

Paper: Pumpkin Pie, Melon Mambo, Whisper White

Ink: Soft Suede, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, Melon Mambo

Misc: Perfect Polka Dot Embossing folder, Scallop trim border punch, Old Olive wide grosgrain

I felt so bad, so I did not take my catalog since we were going to the restaurant and I figured everyone else would bring theirs and I did not want to get food on it.  Well I get there and no one has gotten their catalog yet, so sorry girls, I wish I had of known.

Well it's late and I gotta get up early, did I mention I had fries too?  Oops…oh and onion soup and a steak (had to send it back to have them cook it a bit more, it was pretty raw in the center, MAMMa would have loved it. Me?  I don't want anything mooing at me as I eat…when they brought it back it was better.) I skipped the salad and got the soup instead since I had one for lunch, and is it just me, but does sometime salad give you a belly ache?  I think its the preservatives on stuff that bother me.

Anyway have an awesome Tuesday and thanks so much for stopping in!

    Cute card – I must meet Rhonda one day.
    I believe the salad giving you a tummy ache is because it is roughage and it is helping to move things along your digestive tract….kind of like cleaning your duct work…so you get a tummy ache from it ripping that creme brulee off the walls of your intestine!!!! That is why they say you should really eat your salad at the end of the meal…cause the roughage helps you digest everything better!
    Luv ya

    OMG — I get a stomachache when I eat salad, too! I thought it was just my body rebelling because I was actually eating something good for me! AND, when I eat just a salad (and after the stomachache goes away), I'm hungry again in an hour! ={

    Cute cute card! Looks like summertime. Congrats on presenting at convention this year, can't wait to see what you do and can't wait to see the rest of the cards you will be posting.

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
